Synopsis: Skyfall, Landquake and Breakaway find themselves in a new dimension, in the city of Axiom Nexus in Cybertron. Two Transformers, Silverbolt and Cheetor, introduce themselves to them and directs them to ‘processing’, talking in rather mysterious tones between them. Landquake isn’t too happy, but the city’s security measures dissuade him from acting rashly. Silverbolt explains that the city, and indeed the TransTech universe, is a hub for cross-dimensional travelers, both accidental and purposeful. When Skyfall asks them about Cliffjumper, Cheetor pegs as the cause of an anomaly in the three’s arrival signal, but they don’t know about his fate. They arrive at processing, where numerous Transformers are waiting. After being fitted with identity bolts, the three meet Alpha Trion. Alpha Trion has apparently been assigned to introduce the newcomers to the outworlder culture of Axiom Nexus. He explains that this timeline has never suffered war, and the resident Transformers consider themselves more advanced than other Transformers, and they call themselves the TransTech. Alpha Trion promises to show them where offworlders live, and as they proceed down a corridor, a shadowy figure attacks Breakaway silently. Breakaway falls without the others knowing, and the resident Shockwave orders him to be brought to his laboratory…

Synopsis: Alpha Trion is about to lead Skyfall’s group down to level 39, when they notice that Breakaway missing. Landquake and Skyfall want to hunt their companion down, but Alpha Trion tells them that it’s not an option, since it is highly likely that the TransTech have taken him. Claiming that it’s not safe where they are, Alpha Trion wants to show them what he’s doing to ‘resist their evil’. Meanwhile, Breakaway had been strapped and gagged in Shockwave’s lab. Shockwave tells Breakaway that he is cut off from the outside world, and tells him that he is a unique specimen, with a number of unusual and highly desirable traits, and Shockwave wants to use them for the TransTech’s good. Watching nearby, Megatron authorizes Shockwave to proceed, and Shockwave brings his buzzsaw close to Breakaway’s face… Alpha Trion claims that he came from a Cybertron where the Decepticons were defeated a long time ago, but sabotage caused him to be transported to this universe. According to Alpha Trion, the TransTech deemed that his world was a threat and sealed off access to that universe. At first, Alpha Trion believed that he could find peace here, but realized that many other outworlders from all over the multiverse were likewise abducted for research and experimentation. Alpha Trion claims that Skyfall’s group was diverted there purposefully by the TransTech. The TransTech have a ring of satellites which broadcasts a harmonic frequency which renders offworlders docile, and saps their strength to leave. Alpha Trion have hatched a plan for escape and revenge which involves them, and leads them further. Landquake and Skyfall decide that both the TransTech and Alpha Trion are suspicious, just as Alpha Trion opens a door to reveal a room full of shattered corpses hanging from the ceiling…

Synopsis: Megatron, Shockwave and Senator Ratbat discuss about Breakaway’s fate. Breakaway himself is unconscious. Senator Ratbat berates Shockwave and tells him that killing Breakaway from experimentation is against council intelligence guidelines. However, both Megatron and Shockwave argue that this is a different case, because Breakaway is far more advanced than any outworlder, and they could learn more from him than any other advances in the last thousand stellar cycles. However, the processes Shockwave would do would cost Breakaway’s life. Ratbat promises to put this request before Optimus Prime. Underground, Skyfall holds Alpha Trion at gunpoint and demands an explanation for the corpses. Another Transformer, Topspin, emerges. Alpha Trion introduces Topspin as his technician, and tells Skyfall and Landquake that Topspin has the unique ability to move sparks from one body to another. Alpha Trion shows them a rack of sparks containing those of the TransTech whose bodies hang there, while he has agents who reside in TransTech bodies within the system in order to facilitate their rescue from this dimension. Topspin is pretty overzealous concerning Alpha Trion. Leaving Landquake and Topspin to converse with each other, Alpha Trion wants to speak with Skyfall privately. He promises to help him find Breakaway, and Skyfall agrees to help though he’s not happy with Alpha Trion’s ethics. Alpha Trion tells Skyfall that should he fall in battle, then Skyfall must take up his sword, an ancient blade which has a programming that influences the bearer’s mind.

Synopsis: Skyfall and Landquake walk through the streets of Axiom Nexus, discussing whether to trust Alpha Trion. They decide to go through with the plan because they need to rescue Breakaway, and Landquake is positive that Topspin is the one that the Caretaker sent to find out. Landquake concocts a plan to show the fanatical Topspin the fake delusions of Alpha Trion. The two then discuss the Caretaker’s words, and Skyfall theorizes that they are some kind of combiner. Landquake just wants purpose and to fulfill his duty, be it death or something else. Elsewhere, a group of high-ranking TransTechs discuss the arrival of the newest outworlders. Senator Ratbat pleads with Optimus Prime to allow experiments on Breakaway, because he is a special case. Ratbat brings up the fact that Breakaway might be a danger, but Optimus Prime is still not convinced by the doomsayings. Optimus Prime consults Starscream, head of Civil Intelligence, who has been keeping tabs on Skyfall and Landquake, informing them that they had joined Alpha Trion’s little cult. Prowl is worried of violence, but Starscream assures that half of Alpha Trion’s forces are his men, and they would be able to send the two of them to their home dimension after military-intelligence is finished with Breakaway. In Alpha Trion’s lab, Nightscream arrives to inform the group that he has discovered where Breakaway is being kept prisoner, a location a short distance away from the bleed transit facility for Alpha Trion’s home dimension. Alpha Trion gathers his forces for an attack…

Synopsis: A cheerful TransTech guard try to talk to his partner who keeps ignoring him. However, Alpha Trion and his little army arrive and blow the two guards up. Sending the rest of his forces to the dimensional transit room, Alpha Trion takes Skyfall, Landquake and Immorticon with him to secure Breakaway. Another TransTech, Depth Charge, attacks the incoming offworlders but Alpha Trion runs Depth Charge through with his blade and kills him. Skyfall is highly angered by the murder, but Landquake tells him that killing is inevitable here. Alpha Trion chalks it up to his ‘evil sword’. In the laboratories, Shockwave still requires more time for his experiments. Megatron orders Shockwave to prepare for battle, and the two TransTech fire upon Alpha Trion and his group as they enter. Immorticon and Alpha Trion battle Megatron, while Skyfall and Landquake use Skyfall’s force field to run and rescue Breakaway so they can get out of the crazy planet…

Synopsis: Shockwave is mauled by Immorticon and screams for help. Megatron shoots Alpha Trion, burning half of the old Autobot’s face, and after knocking Alpha Trion aside blasts Immorticon to death. However, Alpha Trion and the rest flee, much to Megatron’s disappointment. Landquake carries the weak Breakaway along, but Alpha Trion and Skyfall, who bring up the rear with the latter’s force field, talk. Alpha Trion tells Skyfall that he knows who he is, but Skyfall wants to hear about it in a safer place. Alpha Trion persists, telling Skyfall that he’s heard from Vector Sigma that Primus is calling his first sons home. Before Alpha Trion could elaborate, an ambush led by the resident Optimus Prime arrives. Skyfall and Alpha Trion run for it, using Skyfall’s force field to block fire. They reach the transit room, where the rest of Alpha Trion’s cultists (plus Landquake and Breakaway) are moving through the portal. Alpha Trion explains to Skyfall how he, Landquake, Topspin and Breakaway are part of something bigger, and Skygall’s conscience would guide their action after ‘reunification’. Alpha Trion suddenly runs Skyfall’s chest through with his sword, since Skyfall’s conscience would only get in his way. Alpha Trion and Nightscream carry Skyfall’s dead body through the gate.

Transformers Featured: Immorticon (killed), Shockwave (TransTech, maybe killed), Alpha Trion (Shattered Glass), Megatron (TransTech), Breakaway, Landquake, Skyfall (killed), Depth Charge’s body, Scooter’s body, Cheetor (TransTech), Starscream (TransTech), Optimus Prime (TransTech), Silverbolt (TransTech), Scavenger (TransTech), Blackarachnia (TransTech), Nightscream (TransTech), Topspin
