[Original RPG] End of the Line: Turnabout (Autobase)
Fort Max: Brig
Spectro was hesitant to look up from the sanctuary of his curled self in the corner of his cell, but Chromedome's voice startled him enough to grab his attention for a moment. He looked through the bars with his face blank and minute vibrations coursing his whole frame. Then he looked back down at his knees, contemplating both when they would get around to executing him and how badly his jury-rigged leg still hurt. Somehow the second thought assumed more concentration than the first - he still felt optimistic for a reason he couldn't quite place...

Fort Max Security Wing, Briefing Room
Skids left his chair, pleased with Prowl's explanation about an improbable Decepticon action -to rescue Spectro- and his new mission.
" Minerals ", he muttered with a broad smile.
He nodded to Prowl and activated his comm gear.
" Wheeljack, here Skids. We've discovered Molybdenum in the ravine, and Prowl wants it out. Please meet me in Fort Max Halls for a mining work, and get with you any unoccupied 'bots able for the job you encounter. Skids out. "
Skids then consulted the crew roster from the room main console, checking the status of his fellow Autobots. He chose some names and engaged again his comm gear.
" Quickmix, Landfill, Big Daddy and company; if you're not occupied please meet me in Fort Max Halls; we're gonna to extract minerals. "
Then the theoretician, with fast and skilled fingers, tipped some buttons on the console pad and downloaded in his memory banks all the availible data about Molybdenum.

Dogfight wasn't impressed by Dirge's engine sound, at least at the actual intensity, but he began to get worried about the dinobot's glances towards the ex-decepticon.
The triggerbot accelerated and catched Dirge, and flying at his side he rolled his wings as a greeting.
"Hy, better we return base... " radioed Dogfight to Dirge.

Over the Ocean
Rising from his seat and nodding at Cryotek, Sixshot seemed to smirk darkly before checking his hypersonic blasters to make sure that they were working properly, then replied "You even need to ask"

Arriving at the briefing room before getting the message, having located Prowl by using the hall consoles, Wheeljack wandered in, whistling, then paused, addressing the tactician soberly "Prowl, got a construction idea I'd like to put forward"

"So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything, I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, ten? They'll swing back to the belief that they can make people better. And I do not hold to that. So no more runnin'. I aim to misbehave" - Captain Mal Reynolds

Fort Max Security Office:
Ironhide: -walks in, sees Nightbeat looking through reports- "Get yer feet off'a th' console."
Nightbeat: -looks over, taking feet off of console- "What, you've never done that?"
Ironhide: "Ain't sayin' that. Jus' don' look perfessional-lahke." -moves over to equipment locker, pulls out a pair of binders-
Nightbeat: -shrugs- "I still say we need venitian blinds over the window." -chuckles- "Heck, we need a window."

Fort Max Security Wing, Briefing Room
Prowl had begun to exit when Wheeljack's entrance cut him off.
He stared momentarily then nodded in a distracted manner. "We'll be able to do more construction after the mining is completed. Skids has the details Wheeljack, and you can relay your project idea to him so I can pick up the briefing later."
Prowl quickly sidestepped and skirted the engineer, winding up in the hallway. "Excuse me, I need to see Prime directly."
Without waiting, the strategist began walking very briskly toward the security wing's command center to speak with the leader more securely.
----------------
ooc: As it's been the better part of a week since Zisteau posted, assume now that the minibots are getting on.
Landing Pad 4, Metroplex:
Hound glanced to Sideswipe, but said nothing. There wasn't much to say. It was a tenuous situation. The scout took a seat and watched the minibots enter.
"That's all of us Sky Lynx. Ready when you are."

Citybot airspace
Swoop flew towards Sludge and landed next to the big dinobot. Both transformed, and Sludge folded his arms, clearly upset . "Sludge play later. Bored."
Swoop nodded. "Me bored too. Say Dirge must go to quarters. Swoop must go too.
"Then Swoop should go. Me wait here, do target practice."
Swoop nodded and transformed, launching upwards and firing his boosters to catch up to the two jets as they headed towards Metroplex.

"The sooner the better," Dirge replied absently to Dogfight, still mostly focused on the dinobots. Luckily, it seemed like Swoop went to have a chat with Sludge, and Dirge finally began to settle down a bit now that it seemed not as much attention was being paid to him.

Ironhide: -pulls Squeezeplay's weapons out, hands them back to him, makes a small adjustment to the latches with acid- "Jus' flex an' they'll rip open. You haul out a key an' Spectro mahght get suspicious."
Nightbeat: "You sure you need to do this? His brain's scrambled like an egg."

Autobase, landing bay two
The Aerialbots stopped, waiting for orders.
" Silverbolt, if we have the time I would revise some of our team tactics " said Skydive.
Silverbolt nodded.
" Ok, I'll start with the tactics regarding Superion... "
" Oh Primus, and I forget my tape recorder ", muttered Slingshot.

" I can escort you Dirge ", said Dogfight with superiority but suddenly shut his vocal processors when he realized he hadn't any idea about the ex-decepticon destination. " Ehem, where are we going? "

Skids nodded to Quickmix and Landfill.
" Hello Landfill, I'm glad to see you totally repaired " said Skids amicably.

Aboard Sky Lynx
"Easy Lynx."
Hound mumbled quietly, and then leaned back and folded his arms as the big autobot took off. He understood why Sideswipe was agitated. He knew saying anything to the warrior right at the moment wouldn't help, so Hound let his thoughts drift to the last encounter he had had with the yellow autobot. The attack he remembered was violent, out of the ordinary, and not something he'd have expected from a fellow brother-in-arms. He closed his optics in thought.

Citybot airspace
Swoop glided some distance behind Dogfight and Dirge, obviously bothered by the noises coming from the engines. Hound would have to owe him, the dinobot decided. Swoop figured out that he wouldn't be able to get in front of the two fliers- they were far faster and more agile than his shape, so he called to them over the radio as he banked and landed outside Max to wait for the others.
"Dirge, Dogfight come to Fortress Maximus. See quarters there."
****
Sludge had turned his attention towards Blitzwing, who remained in a guarding stance, but obviously aware of the dinobot's new interest. The triple changer wore a scowl that clearly read, "Don't mess with me."
Fortress Maximus: Security wing
As Prowl hurried at a fast pace towards the control room, he began formulating a data report to give to Optimus.

Security Office, Fort Max
Squeezeplay took the weapons from Ironhide with a nod.
"Thanks," he said as he placed them inside his own subspace pocket.
Turning to Nightbeat, he said, "Honestly? If what I heard is right, then he's probably gonna sit there and drool oil while I talk to him. But it's worth a shot, I figure."
The Headmaster clicked the cuffs shut around his own wrists, then shrugged. "Good to go," he told the security officers.

Security Office, Metroplex
Hearing the door to his office whoosh open, Red Alert looked up to see who was letting themselves in. He needn't have bothered, really...only one Autobot was considerate enough to enter without subjecting him to the door's ungodly loud entry chime.
"Smokescreen," he said without preamble, "what can I do for you? I'm a bit busy right now...checking out a spate of petty thefts that have been reported over the last few days."
The diversionary tactician replied with equal bluntness, not bothering with the tiresome faux-pleasantness that most Autobots used when faced with a security officer.
"Just a few quick questions," he assured the security director. "Prowl asked me to look into a few of our comrades who might be at risk of betraying us to the Decepticons, and I was wondering if you had any leads for me."
"A few," the director said after a moment's consideration. "Have a seat and we can go over them."
