[Original RPG] Broken Peace: Ch3. Decepticon Battle Scars
Command Deck, Trypticon
"I see." Spinister looked once more at the location that Leozak had pinpointed as their base. "It seems that the area you have chosen as a base of operations is very close to the nation that the Autobots have allied with. It is likely that they will attempt to interfere with our plans.
"If we were to hold the local human population hostage, the Autobots would be disuaded from attacking us. If they did attack, human casualties would be innumerable and the human United Nations would evict the Autobots from the planet. Their foolish code of honour would force them to comply, leaving this world under total Decepticon control once more."

Command Deck, Trypticon:
Leozak: -smiles- "I had thought of doing that. But it presents us with logistical problems. Humans have proved to be inventive in the past, and due to their small size, they will be hard to keep penned in, meaning our limited numbers will be stretched thin." -taps a few more controls on the panel, specifications of various missiles appear on the screen, all labeled with a hammer and sickle emblem and the letters CCCP- "The humans capacity for war could be said to rival our own, save for the fact that they aren't resistant to radiation. In our timeline, at one point, the humans almost blew themselves to radioactive vapor because one of this planets governments tried to place nuclear weapons on this island overtly. So they did it covertly, using submarines. With some research, we should be able to find out if they did the same thing here. If so, we wipe out the people there and synch Trypticon's control systems to the missile targeting and launch systems, and inform the Autobots that we will reduce the continent they are on to nuclear ash if they attack our base."

Ratbat's news came in seconds before Soundwave was about to contact him and demand a progress report. He listen with rapture as the Bat cassette relayed the news of the "Autobot" virus.
"Excellent! Most effeciently done Ratbat. As soon as Sparkstalker's work is completed, send him somewhere well out of the way and then conceal yourself somwhere near to Astrotrain's office - I want you in place for when the action kicks off. Soundwave out."
Soundwave touched a dial on his wrist communicator and patched a link through to Reflector.
"Reflector! Stand ready...Within the next 2 Earth hours, Metrotitan will be disabled. At the critical point I will send you a warning - on this alert - I want each of you to activate the alarm system which each of you is near, this will create pandimonium across the base. When this is done, proceed to Astrotrain's office and conceal yourself nearby - his fall from power will demand a strong decepticon presence loyal to me for his removal. Soundwave out."
Soundwave touched a button on his chest. The front panel opened and a black and chrome cassette sprung from the mechanism, transforming into Ravage. The black jaguar landed silently on four paws and turned obediently to face his master.
"Ravage. The plan in operation, if it is to fail, must not be traced back to me. Proceed to Astrotrain's office and conceal yourself. If Reflector proves to be treacherous, ensure that they do not have enough time to carry out their treachery."
Two further cassettes jumped from the chest unit. These transformed into Rumble and Frenzy.
"Rumble, Frenzy - in a final effort to create maximum havoc - I need you to proceed to secotrs A and Z of the base, once there and on my signals - activate Pile Drivers at medium revs - I wait to shake things up not destroy Metrotitan."
Rumble, Frenzy and Ravage briefly acknowledged their master and then quickly departed the room.
----------------------
Laserbeak had sat patiently in Astrotrain's office - tucked away high in the rafters of the room, undetected - monitoring, awaiting instructions from his master. an internal sensor alerted him to such a call...
"Laserbeak. All units are converging on your position. I have created a situation of maximum choas and panic. When this begins - I shall be fully reliant on you to keep me informed of Astrotrain's movements - it is imperitive that he cannot summon aid at the time of his removal. Keep me informed of everything. Soundwave out."
-----------------------
Soundwave felt the energon pumping in his veins. There was no such thing as "robotic excitement", but at this crucial time, all the pawns where moving into position ready for the final strike - there was no doubt in his mind that his plan would be successful...

"That would be equally effective," Spinister replied. "What sort of research would be required?" He frowned. "The American humans have a surprising tendancy to make such dangerous information publicly available. If it's likely that they would have the answer on file somewhere, my Nebulans could retrieve it."

Ratbat's fuel pump beat slightly faster as Soundwave noted his efficiency. It wasn't every day that someone noticed his performance, after all. "Acknowledged," he said as the communications officer signed off.
He dropped from his perch on the ceiling and landed on Sparkstalker's shoulder. "After the upload is complete, you will proceed to a secure location far from here and await instructions."
"Of course," the Firecon said. "I'll go to my quarters. Metrotitan's security records will show that I haven't left since Hound was in there."
"Yes, yes, very efficient." Ratbat hissed. "The security forces will easily be able to find you and clear you of all blame."
And if you fail my master, I'll know where to find you too...

Main Briefing Room - Trypticon
Skyquake let out a slight laugh at Killbison's response . Taking a step closer to the other Decepticon, he slowly motioned with his left hand for Talon to step up next to him.
Predator's cave - Inside
Standing just inside the cavern's entrance, Staker looked in towards what had been the Predator's base. It wasen't really much to be honest, just a few weapons leaning against the wall and some of Stalker's own communications equipment over at the far side.
Taking a few steps into the cave, Stalker picked up the sound of somebody approaching behind him. "Ah, Hellbat " he spoke without so much as even moving Being a communications expert sure does have its advantages...
"Hellbat, go grab those weapons over the left of the entrance, and i'll get my equipment..."
Not bothering to wait for a reply, Stalker walked towards his equipment.
Predator's Cave - Outside
Falcon watched as Hellbat entered the cave behind his fellow predator, and still smiling he turned to face the other Decepticon - Gaihawk
"They won't be long, there isn't much still in there..."
Folding his arms across his chest, Falcon paced up and town in front of the cavern's entrance
Main Briefing Room - Trypticon
Skyquake stood looking out and down towards Killbison as Talon waited next to him. Still with an evil looking grin on his face, Skyquake stepped forward once more "What exactly is there to do around this dump then?"
Walking around the side of Skyquake, Talon extended a finger out to Killbison "Yeah, isn't there anything to bust up in here?"
Skyquake let out a slight laugh at Killbison's response . Taking a step closer to the other Decepticon, he slowly motioned with his left hand for Talon to step up next to him.

Outside Trypticon
A metallic purple jet swooped down at a fairly increasing speed. It slowly came to rest, hovering on the ground, only the engines keeping it from falling the few inches below.
Then, in the blink of an eye it began to change. Mechanism by mechanism, it folded into place until two cybertronian feet stomped onto the ground below, shattering some of the many rocks. A Decepticon insignia glowed on the chest of the mechanical monster.
A head came into play as its eyes glowed a neonish red and a grin came across the cold metal face.
"It has been far to long since I have done that"
The Decepticon turned looking around at his surroundings until his glowing eyes caught site of what was Trypticon.
"It has been a long time since I Cyclonus have seen such a familiar face."
Cyclonus looked at his Decepticon symbol upon his chest.
"Far too long!"
OOC: I didn't know really how else to bring him into play

Command Deck, Trypticon:
Leozak: "All we should require would be a scan for radioactivity, and type. Fissionable materials give off a different reading. We could do a flyby scan of the island, or take control of an orbiting satellite and retask it appropriately."

Main Briefing Room, Trypticon:
Killbison: -drops gauss cannon, cannon transforms to bison mode-
BisonBreast: -paws ground, snorts-
Killbison: "You'll wait here until the others get back." -pulls bo staff, tacks one end against the deck plating- "And no busting up the furniture."

"The latter should be simple enough," Spinister said. "The areas you've targeted for conquest are primative by Earth standards, but their governments should have the equipment we would require. Appropriating it would be simplicity itself.
"A direct scan would actually be more efficient, but it could also tip off the humans and Autobots to our plan. If a human satellite were to do the scan, it would appear to be nothing more than everyday international espionage."

(Previous to gigatron's return):
Smokescreen stared at the decepticon leader... uneasiness was an understatement for how he felt. but it wasn't quite terror either.
" It seems Hound has been discovered by your friends, Smokescreen. One less autobot to "release"... Needless to say, You'll be left at the border of Carbomiya, unharmed, free to go. as to the reason for your initial capture... we saw you as a possible threat, speaking at the U.N. council meeting, on behalf of the autobots... and simply put, by capturing you, we intended to use you... force you to make false statements, as we're all quite aware of your " silver tongue" as the humans put it."
Smokescreen was stunned... but not entirely surprised. he'd talked his way out of several situations before, with decepticons such as thundercracker, and even one or two more battle hardened warriors... but that they had informed galvatron of their failures... and lived, that was what truly shocked him.
Tapping the comm on his desk, galvatron spoke: " Soundwave. See our "guest" to the carbomiyan border, and see to it no harm comes to him. from ANYONE. once there, he is to be released, and allowed to return to the autobots' base. Galvatron out."
At that point, smokescreen had started back for the door, and was greeted by several metrodrones who escorted him to the main entryway to metrotitan...
Moments later, galvatron's doors were flung open... rising from his throne, in a near fit of rage, he shouted.... "WHO DARES...."
his optics narrowed and his jaw dropped slightly...
"You... You ! I had thought you to be dead! Enter! And seal the doors behind you. we have much to discuss... Gigatron."

StarBlade followed along behind silently. It was amazing how the femme-assassin moved with barely a sound. She listened as Ramjet warned Thrust to keep an optic on her. She shook her head some.
"Seems trust is hard to come by for anyone of my proffesion... Its even harder to earn from most...." StarBlade gave the equivilant of a sigh. "Guess I'll just have to do my best."

"Who knows?" Ramjet shrugged. "Maybe she'll be able ta take care of 'erself. I've never seen 'er in a fight before, just runnin' away from one. 'Course, she was outnumbered fifty or so ta one, so she had a good reason ta run, but I'll never tell 'er that. Not 'till she proves she deserves her Decepticon badge, anyway."
OOC: AoD, sorry that I'm just talking about your char, rather than with her. It's just that Rammers would rather chat with his conehead buddy than bait the chick that he doesn't like...
