Haven't you seen Beast Wars? A Transformer can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. They don't need to kill Grimlock off to make way for a new set of toys coming out next fall.

When I began reading DW G1 TF comics, I noticed that they are not the continuity of the old comics. Too many mismatches. So I thought that they fill up the time between G1 Season 2 cartoon and The Movie.

And everything more or less putted together, until the DW G1 Vol2 #4! Smokescreen and Blaster don't know Prime, Wheelie appeared too early, etc.

So what is it? Where to put the events of DW G1 TF comics?

Dreamwave continuity. 'Nuff said. :)
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

I believe that it said something like "Warning - Stasis Lock iminent" and at least according to Ciencin's Hardwired , that doesn't mean dead, just out of power and in need of shutting down. It may be the same thing here, since the novel mentions past events from the DW G1 continuity (and from War Within... and from the Marvel comic... and from the original cartoon...)
Hang on to your ego.

I think because the whole issue of stasis lock is covered big time in the beast wars series

Break Down :"If we don't we're doomed too.

even in Beast wars, stasis lock didn't mean death. Just (as Grandmaster said) shutting down, either as a result of massive damage, energon surge, lack of power, etc. It was a way to preserve the spark (as in the ep where airrazor comes in).
