There is such a thing as a blatant joke. In this case, Cliffy was portaying an "overreacting fanboy".

As for when Orson Welles died, he died back in 85(?), while TF:TM was still in production. He did live long enough to finish his lines, or so Susan Blu says.

I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to Tempest.

We really need a new text format option, like bold or itallic, you know, something we can use to denote sarcarsm.

I'm soooooooo glad someone fell for that... mind, lots of these situations could be avoided if I had a forum-specific tag in my sig, something like "Anything posted by Cliffjumper in News & Rumours is either a) a blatant lie or b) taking the piss"... Heh. As for the sarcasm thing, I think most of us can spot it... Hmm. ;)

I thought Welles died in early '86 meself, but I could be wrong. In fact, I almost certainly am. Bet it's his last movie being in '86 that's making me think that. No, you go and look it up on IMDB, I'm on dial-up.

Died Oct. 10, 1985. Heart Attack.

He's credited with 2 movies after TF:TM: "Someone to Love" from 1987 and "Shylock" in 1999, but that one is listed as Archive Footage.

And don't complain about Dial-up. I have it and I looked up that stuff fairly quickly

Okay, so I'm just a lazy sod...

Erm, yeh, it rings a bell that there was a TV movie he did before TF:TM that didn't get released for a couple of years - I think it was incomplete and they worked round Welles being dead.
