[New RPG] Civil War

Do you think a Decepticon civil war will happen? It's certinly likely, characters like Clench aren't exactly found of Megs and it would be ultimately something we wern't able to do with the old RPG.

I believe that the 'Cons just had a Civil War in the old RPG.

Personally, while I think it's possible, some time in the future (IE after Earth) - I doubt that we'll see a civil war any time soon.

The rebellion has just started (ish) and the Decepticons need a unified front to work against the Autobots or they have no chance.

Not probably likely in the near future, since, well, if a civil war begins right now it'll just be retreading fresh old ground.

Not to mention that the Decepticons will basically crumble from the Autobots if they are divided right now.

It would be interesting, maybe, in the future to see an Autobot Civil War.

Not just Bots forming different factions, but activily fighting each other....

I know there was something similar WAY back before I first joined the RPG, with Optimus and Rodimus....

I don't see a civil war happening on either side right away, but it's pretty much inevitable that one or more of them will break out eventually.

For the Autobots, it might be between the more pragmatic types (like Prowl) against the more idealistic ones (like Smoekscreen), which is somewhat like the Optimus Prime versus Rodimus Convoy bit you guys had in the old RPG.

For the Decepticons, well... they are Decepticons.

Though there might be those between the 'normal' Decepticons and those that are disillusioned. Like Obsidian, who wants what's best for Cybertron, or those who want profit like Clench, might become tired at one point at Megatron...

Again, who would not betray Scorponok?

Even his children, Ginrai and Sixshot will betray Scorponok. Ginrai for sure, Sixshot will eventually probably be loyal to the Decepticons instead of Scorponok.
