Road Hugger

Like most Micromasters, Road Hugger is rebellious. However, under all that bluster lay a spark that respects those who doesn't see him as dispensable, and treats him as an equal. As such, he and team leader Blackjack works together very well, each complementing each other's weaknesses. However, he always wanted more of being more than just an assault trooper, but he likes his team too much to even raise the issue with them. Following recent events, however, Road Hugger found himself in a position with the Combaticons. With a new road in front of him, Road Hugger now hopes he could make a difference.

Character History
Road Hugger, like the rest of the Sports Car Patrol, had been hiding out in Tokyo as part of an illegal racing competition after being exiled from the Decepticon faction. When the war returned to Earth after the Quintesson occupation, Blackjack led the rest of the Sports Car Patrol back into the Decepticon fold, pledging allegiance to the current leader, Gigatron. They then participated in the assault on Tokyo, relishing the chance to pay back the human city. During the battle, Road Hugger battled the Hot Rod Patrol.

During the period of dentente following the Reclamation of Cybertron, the Sports Car Patrol got into a mishap with an officer named Backstab, and after Hyperdrive turned the argument into a physical brawl, they were put on probation (or exiled again, if you want to be frank) on the slums of Kaon.

At this point, tensions between Hyperdrive and team leader Blackjack erupted, and the Sports Car Patrol fractured. Ordered by Blackjack, Road Hugger accompanied Hyperdrive as he walked away from Kaon, just to keep an eye on his unstable companion. Road Hugger found himself following Hyperdrive to the neutral city of Protihex, where they threw their lot in with Onslaught. After successfully infiltrating a Quintesson warehouse and claiming it for themselves, the two Micromasters battled a Reflector unit that stumbled into the area, being badly damaged in the process.

Road Hugger and Hyperdrive were subsequently upgraded into full-sized Transformers by the technology in the warehouse, and were drafted into the Combaticon faction. Due to an 'accident' caused by Hyperdrive during reformatting, Road Hugger ended up looking like a purple Sunstreaker for a while before later changing him into a larger version of his Micromaster body. While Hyperdrive eventually left the rather non-violent faction for Gigatron's Decepticons, Road Hugger remained behind, having gained an immense amount of respect for Onslaught and what he's trying to do in Protihex. He considers the current Civil War to be a waste of time and resources, and thus wants no part in it. Serving as an aide of sorts to Onslaught and Swindle, Road Hugger kept in contact with Blackjack during this early period of setting up.

When the Autobots and Space Mafia clashed in Templar Heights, Onslaught scrambled the Combaticons to arrest whomever resists, and to assist in the battle. Road Hugger participated in the battle against the Mafia gestalt alongside fellow Combaticon Brawl. Later on during the battle, he was nearly killed by a sniper shot by Blue Bacchus, but Brawl and the Autobot Pointblank were able to rescue him and apprehend the mafia members.

Physical Abilities
Road Hugger is stronger than his size, and is faster than the average Micromaster. He is able to grip the roads at very high speeds because of adhesive chemicals in his wheels, and is equipped with mines that pop out from his trunk. After being upgraded from a Micromaster into a full-sized Transformer body, Road Hugger retains all his previous abilities, and has equipped himself with a shoulder-mounted chaingun. After being torn apart following recent events, Road Hugger had equipped himself with newer weapon, replacing the shoulder chaingun with an X12 Scrapmaker minigun and wrist-mounted dual plasma blasters that he liberated from the Combaticon armoury. However, due to him not being used to a full-sized Transformer body Road Hugger's reflexes are a little slow, and he sometimes underestimate the importance of dodging.

Personal Relationships
Road Hugger is very close with Blackjack, his former team leader. Road Hugger works perfectly well with Blackjack, although he resents most other forms of authority. Road Hugger is also very close with his former Patrol-mates Detour and Hyperdrive, and would lay down his life for any of them. He holds Onslaught in very high esteem and respects the Combaticon leader's ambition. After spending some time in battle, Road Hugger had also found a trusted friend in Brawl.

Rummage

Rummage is one of the defenders of Kolkular that opposed Megatron's invasion party. A simple brute that relied on his strength, Rummage loves to search junkyards for spare parts. However, his efforts were not enough to repel Bombshock and Dropshot, and Rummage was quickly disposed off.

Steelshredder

Steelshredder is delusional and power-hungry. He would gladly sell his services to anyone willing to hire him. At first he served among the civilian Decepticons in Kolkular. When Megatron's Decepticons arrived, he quickly defected to them, only to betray them to Frostburn's cell of Gigatron loyalists at the first chance he had. However, injuries sustained while escaping Kolkular meant that he dropped dead soon after he reached Frostburn.

Windsplitter

Windsplitter is the head of security in Kolkular. He is an arrogant Decepticon that really hates tiny Decepticons. Ironically, he met his end in the hands of Blackjack, Detour and Overkill from Megatron's forces when they assaulted Kolkular.

Zoom, Boost and Photon

A trio of Reflector units sent by the Space Mafia to investigate a warehouse previously owned by the Quintessons, Zoom was impaled by one of the traps that littered the warehouse, moments before Road Hugger and Hyperdrive deactivated the security systems. The psychic backlash caused Boost and Photon to go feral, and they engaged the Combaticons, battling Bluestreak, Onslaught, Road Hugger and Hyperdrive before being killed.

Zoom survived the encounter, however, and was revived shortly afterwards. He found his way to Black Shadow, and stood guard in Templar Heights when the Autobot-Decepticon alliance attacked. Zoom ultimately met his end at the hands of Spinister, who snapped his neck from behind.

Hailstorm

A neutral, crazy scientist and inventor, Hailstorm was hired by the Combaticons to create security systems for them. After doing his job, the mad scientist was secretly killed by Hyperdrive, who was bored with inactivity and wanted to 'safeguard the Combaticon secrets'.

Hailstorm's legacy survived when he transplanted his mind to a newer frame, complete with cryogenic abilities. Calling himself Frostbite, he later joined the Space Mafia and was present in the battle against the combined Autobot and Decepticon forces. Frostbite battled Wheelie, Freeway and Mirage, and was killed when his core systems was pierced by Wheelie's dagger, rupturing the cooling systems and freezing him from the inside out.

Skywarp

Teleportation is a tremendously rare and dangerous skill for a Transformer to have. Fortunately for the Autobots, the Decepticon with the ability of teleportation is Skywarp. Skywarp is a mischievous little prankster who would rather teleport to push someone down a flight of stairs rather than use it to, say, assassinate Optimus Prime. Skywarp is not necessarily an idiot, but it's just he doesn't think things through, and is rather useless in a fight without proper directions and adult supervision. When he puts his mind into it, though, Skywarp could really be a dangerous foe.

Character History
Skywarp was one of the elite Seekers, one of Starscream's squadron. He was among the original crew of the Nemesis that attacked the Ark. Skywarp participated in numerous battles against the Autobots, but he was felled during the Autobot City battle, and his damaged body was dumped out of Astrotrain alongside others. Skywarp's remains was used to create the Decepticon superwarrior Cyclonus by Unicron. In 2015, another Cyclonus arrived from the future with his partner Scourge in tow. The duo helped Gigatron rescue and revive Galvatron, then took him to Chaar. When they arrived, Galvatron had his spare Cyclonus and Scourge reverted back to Skywarp and Thundercracker respectively after stealing their personality components from Unicron's brain, and Skywarp was thus reborn, and served again along the Decepticons.

(This bit is under work)

During the Chaos Matrix Saga, Skywarp joined the chaos-powered Thunderwing's separatist faction, and served as the de facto second-in-command, leading the Seekers and Horrorcons to try and recruit Teratron and the bulk of Decepticon army. Teratron and Astrotrain predictably refused, and Skywarp's group came to blows with the main Decepticon faction. Ramjet defected to Teratron's Decepticons after a disagreement with Skywarp, and the rest of Thunderwing's forces were overwhelmed by Predaking and Metrotitan's drones. Skywarp held Astrotrain at gunpoint, and the distraction was sufficient to teleport his allies away.

Skywarp was present when Thunderwing killed Scourge, and when Thunderwing defeated the Wreckers, participating in the latter battle. During this time, Skywarp served as the unofficial leader of the Seekers. Skywarp later led Thundercracker, Thrust and Dirge to observe as Rodimus Convoy and Optimus. Prime came to a peace talk. Skywarp played a key part in escalating the Autobot Civil War when he planted a bomb inside Sky Lynx, causing Rodimus Convoy to blame Optimus' forces for the presumed attack. Despite the others' doubts with Thunderwing, Skywarp enjoyed the position of power he had. During the climax of the Chaos Matrix Saga, Thundercracker and later Skywarp were killed in swift succession by Grimlock, stabbed through the chest when trying to sneak up on the Dinobot leader.

However, death did not prove to be long for Skywarp, however. When Optimus Prime opened the Autobot Matrix to summon sparks from beyond, Skywarp (alongside Thundercracker) was one of those who were resurrected. He was part of the group that captured Hound, and later battled Quick Switch during one of the assaults on the Autobot Cities.

Skywarp then maintained a rather low profile during the subsequent Quintesson Reclamation and the period of detente that followed. Following the Decepticon Civil War, the bored Skywarp embarked on a solo mission to Altihex to rescue his friend and fellow Seeker Thrust, who was left behind when Megatron's forces staged a prison break. Skywarp engaged Jazz and managed to escape with Thrust back to Polyhex.

Physical Abilities
Skywarp possesses the ability to teleport himself and those around him to a distance away, a maximum of 2.5 miles. However, his accuracy is greatly hampered if the distance is great, or if he couldn't see where he's teleporting to. Recently he has trained his teleportation to be silent, without any crackle of electricity in the air, but it takes concentration to do so. Skywarp is equipped with variable-calibre machineguns and heat-seeking missiles, and has been known to use bouncer bombs, paintball guns and all sorts of other wacky trick weapons.

Personal Relationships
Skywarp is on very good terms with the rest of the Seekers, especially Thundercracker, Ramjet and Thrust. He tolerates and respects Sixshot after their stint of working as Thunderwing's senior officers. Skywarp hates Grimlock with a passion after killing him before. After coming to blows with them while serving with Thunderwing, Skywarp isn't on good terms with Gigatron or Astrotrain. While he likes the position of power that Thunderwing gave him, he realized that the aristocrat was just using him and now hates the Pretender with a passion.
