Best simulation game ever?

Post by optimusjamie »

Although I've only played it at a friend's place, I'll go for The Sims 2 .

Grand Prix 2. Any game where you can run Paul Belmondo into a wall at 200mph is good, and there probably aren't many contenders.

Aren't all games technically simulations to some degree?

Yeah, but I think she meant "Real Life Simulators" Which really means your only choices are the "Sim" games.

Sims isn't a real-life simulator, though. It's more of a God simulator, because you tell various people what to do. Like FIFA 98 or Vice City.

Check that games knowledge out, though.

I'm going to have to go with this one once it comes out. I love bizarre "innovations" like this.

Football manager agh, the hours I spend tinkering with various tactical set ups and configurations with my Newcastle team only to see all my intricate plans and overlapping offensive/defensive plans come unstuck when Joey Barton gets sent off.

I hate sims, sometimes I just want to shoot stuff with a really big gun.

I came in here wanting to say that!

And my vote goes to the mini-game in Mario Party 8 where you have to shake a can of soda until it explodes and you're really just doing a vigorous jerking off motion in front of a group of your friends.

A simulation?

So, sort of like a dream?
