Roadbuster: "Why doesn't Hasbro do the smart thing and get the molds for that hyper posable Mugen Calibur and release that in Classics? At least I'll look normal then....."
As a professional tanuki (I'm a Japanese mythological animal, and a good luck charm), I have an alarm clock built into me somewhere. I also look like a stuffed animal. And you thought your life was tough......

Licensing is probably why. I don't think they'd go through that much effort to release a character that hardly anyone outside the fanbase knows about at this point. I have been proven wrong before however...

Yeah I noticed that too, which is good news. Probably won't get it, still need to get the original and I'd rather get that first. Even though I don't like the idea of repainting Ultra Magnus as Roadbuster, it does kinda work.

Shadow Megs looks mucho better to me than the first one which has a rather boring colorscheme. Roadbuster Magnus is looking like Magnus is going on Safari or something. Anyway you need a lot of guts and no brains to even think about this.

Strange... Why has Magnus still got his head and some armor plates in robot mode in the colors of his first release? Not that a Brown/Beige?green helmet like the rst of his body would look so great but this...

To still further emphasize that it is Ultra Magnus himself and not a new character.

Been seeing alot of Shadow Blade Megs. in walmart. no "Road Magnus" though.

Megatron looks damn cool, but not something i'll ever get, unless for free, or $10 or under, just because I've always had a preferance for characters that are actually in the show, and I just can't afford a repaint that has no purpose other than to make Hasbro money.
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

Just say he's in the shadows, like he was in the first episode... and that everything else around him isn't.

I forgot where I was going with this.

I'm not buying any Animated Leaders. I mean, I don't really like them too much.

'Sides, cash is a problem.

Bugger. They may be out somewhere in the UK but not here in Wolverhampton. I haven't even seen the Original Ultra Magnus yet. The most recent thing I've seen is the Activators Patrol Bumblebee re-paint. Wolves sucks for TF's at the mo.:(

TRU in Festival Park, Staffordshire have just put Roadbuster Magnus and Shadow Blade Megs on the shelves today.
They also had a massive overstock of the Ratchet/Bumblebee 2 pack @ £19.99, Leader Bulkhead with Headmaster + Activator Bumblebee for £19.99, Jetstorm/Jetfire 2 pack for £19.99 (Just after I paid £27.99 for mine :( )

Shadow Blade Megs looks much better that the grey version but I already have the grey Megs so won't be paying full price for a repaint. Magnus is a deffo no. Its a shame V1 Magnus wont be coming to the UK as that the one I'll be getting (£50 from Toyz N Gamez)

Took a few pics. COuldn't get close ups as I was also holding my daughter as well:
