[Animated] Race in Transformers!

I was just curious as to what race is Sari. In the many transformer incarnations they were always seen with anglo saxon types with I think the exception in armada, RID which i think Koji and his dad are japanese, and here with Sari and her dad who i think is middle eastern to some degree or maybe not so where does that leave father and daughter. I always wanted the playing field to be leveled when it comes to the human interaction in transformers. Which is one of the things i liked about the live movie it was more inclusive of black folks role in the transformers universe. i am not trying to affirmative action everything i would just like to see kids see episodes with people that look like them of all races and stuff. That is why i like Sari, she isn't anglo saxon or fair skinned so to speak, she isn't male, and it seems she isn't totally human too. well 2 out of 3 ain't bad. well i may make some folks upset with this but i love transformers i am a child of the 80's and have been in every incarnation roughly though my faves are G1 always, RID, Animated, Beast wars. I really enjoyed animated. what do you think

I like how Sari is a Indian. Or a Pakistani or another area near.

She seems Indian to me.

I mean India the continent not American Indian.

It gives balance to the series.

There should be more diferent races in cartoons.

I don't know what you're complaining about. There were lots of foreigners in the original cartoon. The bods from the in-no-way-racist nation of Carbombya, for a start.

That Snake guy didn't even have a face! Therefore filling the disabled quota that Chip used to occupy.

Cab was foreign, too.

Maybe so but arnt us Brits made up of so many different ethnic backgrounds anyway? Off the top of my head therse the Celts, Romans, Angles, Saxons, Danish and Icelandic vikings and the Normans. But my history is not fantastic so that list may need correcting.

Sari is probably white anglo or hispanic. She might be Indian like her adopted father. Most of the time human race isn't a problem for most transformers and there is no evidence that the humans have problems with it in the series. I don't think decepticons can tell or care of the different human races nor are interested in their bickerings. Transformers have their own racial problems to deal with?

i really did not want to offend any body by saying white folks or anything like that i just would like to see more main characters for children not just be white in like almost every cartoon. that's all children and adults for that matter need to see more than those that conquered and colonized places throughout history.

Jazz is black, in the original cartoon and in the live-action movie.

Of course, in the movie he was an awkward gangsta stereotype...

You clearly saw something different. Jazz is white in G1, and in the movie he is sort of silver.

Anyone here actually not know that? Crothers is a proper actor who's been in real films, I think everyone knows he's black.

Besides, Peter Cullen is white. Optimus Prime is still red, white and blue.
