The more I look at Octane/Tankor the more I wish he had huuuuuuuuuuuuge goggles like G1 Octane. They were cool.

Does Octane have two hands, or am I looking at another useless weed-whacker arm?

Powerglide looks great!

Sunstreaker and Octane look nifty too. The others are a bit 'meh', but certainly not bad lookin'.

Seems weird not to have Galvatron, if they really intend to have him. There's very few major big-names in the Wave 1 Lineup, bar Prowl and Sunstreaker. And it does seem odd not to have even 1 leader type in there, or a well-known character in a larger size class.

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

-Prowl is definitely the one I'm most impressed with, at the moment.
-Never was a huge fan of Octane, so I may need to see more pics to see how I feel about the Tankor toy.
-Gotta mirror Cliffy's thoughts on Sunstreaker
-Powerglide and Onslaught look all right. I probably won't pick them up, since I'm focussing more on deluxes, these days, though.

Does anyone have a picture of Onslaught in this colour scheme. I remember the pics of Sunstreaker, Sideswipe and Octane but I don't remember this. Cheers.

Thanx for that. I see what you mean. The colours don't do it justice. Hopefully they'll release a recolour (first time I think I've wanted one!).

Yup, gonna have to get them. Sunstreaker looks great, Prowl looks great(although if they're following, say, toon concept, the shoulder launchers aren't needed, but they would need them for the inevitable recolors to Bluestreak and Smokescreen), Octane..... I might get. He looks like of cool. And I'm loving the Powerglide design, although having him Jetfire sized seems strange. I might even get Onslaught.

Given the fact that my initial intent for this line was to just get Ironhide, whenever they release him, this is pretty good.
As a professional tanuki (I'm a Japanese mythological animal, and a good luck charm), I have an alarm clock built into me somewhere. I also look like a stuffed animal. And you thought your life was tough......

Following the cartoon model would mean making Prowl as bland and uninteresting-looking as possible. His Marvel model makes Bluestreak look like Hooligan. I've said it once and I'll say it again, but if Pat Lee got nothing else right it was to use the toy layout on Prowl.

They're looking good . I'm not too sure about the SWAT colour scheme for Onslaught but the robot mode looks good and the vehicle looks a lot better than his original " generic army truck with huge cannons randomly stuck at the front and an empty flatbed."

Hey, so there's a video of the Megatron/Prime battle in the '86 transformers movie up on hasbro's universe website. Looks very badass.

Cliffjumper; "Following the cartoon model would mean making Prowl as bland and uninteresting-looking as possible..."

Yeah... It's true...

...But as a child I, like many, lost those shoulder missles in a hurry.
Thus making the toy more cartoon accurate.

Ziggy, the Digibash looks great and Prowl is as close to an IDW Prowl as I figure we will ever get.

...Would love to see WW titanium Prowl released in plastic, too.
(man that die cast sucked in most of those titaniums....)
Come on and wind me up.

It's already mentioned in N&R in the Universe thread, as it's on that part of their site and having two different topics on different things would just be a world gone topsy-turvy. Good, though, isn't it?

Oh shit, forgot. I'm meant to just post the URL and something clipped like "Already posted", aren't I? :(
