[TF2007] Character Profiles

Post by Reflector »

A lot of characters in this universe have pretty scant information on them. Use this thread as a repository for creating such info: backgrounds, functions, stats, full bios, abilities, anything that'll help everyone better understand your characters. I'll start off with an example shortly.

Name: Ridge
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Analyst
Alt. Mode: 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS

STR: 4
INT: 10
SPD: 6
END: 5
RNK: 5
CRG: 7
FRP: 5
SKL: 8

History: Ridge and his partner Flash were the first Autobots to reach Earth in the hunt for the Allspark. After locating a lead to the Cube's location, they called Bumblebee and partner Sphinx for backup before proceeding to the location. They were greeted by a Decepticon ambush led by warlord Mainframe. While Mainframe drained Flash's spark, a squad of his drones pummeled Ridge and left him for dead. Bumblebee arrived to see his fallen comrades and managed to escape thanks to Sphinx' sacrifice. Bumblebee reported Ridge KIA along with Sphinx and Flash. However, after the Decepticons returned to their base, Ridge partially repaired himself to hide among the humans and struggled to track down other Autobots for assistance in spite of a damaged radio. News of the battle at Mission City drew him to run across the other Autobots, and he was reincorporated into Prime's company.

Biography: Ridge is more a thinker than a fighter. Working efficiently is his MO, and he prefers not to take any action until he is sure it will help achieve a goal. Because of his insistence on efficiency, Optimus values his recommendations to eliminate waste in maneuvers. Ridge is perhaps the most intelligent Autobot; his quiet, observant demeanour is often falsely perceived as aloof and elitist. Since his near-death experience, Ridge has become a bit less of a stickler than he had been. While Earth had previously been just another mission site for him, he now thoroughly enjoys it for its rich and diverse life.

Abilities: Ridge's intelligence is his greatest asset. His ability to quickly analyze any situation and learn rapidly makes him useful in strategy, enemy troop assessment, and field repairs. In truck mode, he is equipped with a turbocharged 260 horsepower engine.

Weaknesses: Ridge is not particularly fast or strong, and he is rarely useful in a fight by himself. His thinking is sometimes too linear and often fails to realize innovative solutions.

********

Name: Mixmaster
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Scientist/Engineer
Alt. Mode: Cement mixer truck

STR: 7
INT: 8
SPD: 4
END: 9
RNK: 6
CRG: 5
FRP: 3
SKL: 6

Biography: Mixmaster is blessed with an advanced processor adept at complex mathematical computations, and cursed with a hard yearning to be a front-line fighter. His bulk suits him for the job, but the scarcity of technically-inclined Decepticons keeps him eternally trapped in some mundane design job. This has made him very bitter of most Decepticons. Mixmaster is not openly rebelious because he fears Starscream, and because of the hope that his diligence will someday earn him a spot among the warriors.

Abilities: Mixmaster has a tremendous scientific aptitude that has allowed him to learn a variety of mathematical, engineering, and scientific disciplines. He is skilled in every step of the design process, from theoretical research to mass production. He is also immensely tough and respectably powerful. In truck mode, he is equipped with a 350 horepower engine and an insulated 11 cubic yard mixing drum.

Weaknesses: Mixmaster's boredom with technical projects often causes his work to suffer, earning him frequent reprimands from Decepticon brass. Although he is virtually impervious to damage, his offensive combat skills are more lacking than he would like to admit. In both modes he is miserably slow and cumbersome.

http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Scrapper_%28Movie%29

Name: Scrapper
Allegiance Decepticon
Function: Medical Engineer / Logistics
Alt Mode: JCB 940 Forklift

STR: 4
INT: 8
SPD: 5
END: 4
RNK: 5
CRG: 7
FRP: 6
SKL: 9

Profile: Scrapper is a wizard at designing fortresses and energy production plants for the Decepticons. Disguising his creations to blend unnoticed into the surrounding alien human landscapes comes almost as easily to him. He modestly shrugs off the acclaim these talents inspire from his comrades. After all, he feels he is just fulfilling the requirements of his job. Scrapper also acts as the Decepticons Medic and has been assigned to look after logistics. This is not the favourite part of his job and he has an optic open for some poor mech he can off load it on. He deplores the need to work with substandard human materials.

Abilities: WIP

Weaknesses: His forks are prone to metal stress fractures if overused and his Alt mode limits his ability to move around undetected.

Name : Night Beat
Allegiance : Autobot
Function: Investigator
Alt Mode MP3 Player

Most of the other REAL GEAR ROBOTS focus on covering their tracks, but NIGHT BEAT 7 makes it his job to expose them to the light. Using sophisticated reality-search software, he constantly scans the world around him for evidence that a DECEPTICON has been at work. He’s trained in finding the most obscure evidence from the faint time particle trail left by MEANTIME, to the sonic leftovers of the mischievous BOOSTER X10.

Abilities: Night Beat is an excellent Tracker able to use his abilities to track Decepticons both in the real world and Cyberspace. His backpack / earphone can detach and be remotely operated as a spy drone that can infilitrate enemy installations or hack into their systems. The cannon is an accelerator cannon, what Night beat jokingly calls his Fastforward Function.

Weakness: Can become obsessed with the minutae and thus miss the bigger picture.

Name: Barricade
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Special operations
Alt-mode: Saleen S281 Mustang police cruiser
Primary Weapons: Extendable arm, laser cannon
Motto: "Trust is the commodity of fools."

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 8
Speed: 8
Endurance: 6
Rank: 8
Courage: 5
Firepower: 5
Skill: 7

[Tech specs adjusted from his toy bio to more accurately reflect the character we saw on-screen and in the preview material.]

Profile: Barricade is a born liar. He thoroughly enjoys knowing that humans trust him because of the police badges on his door panels. The look of betrayal on their faces when they realize his true nature gives him an almost addictive thrill. He extends this duplicity to the other Decepticons as well; he has no interest in them or the cause, save for when it serves his own personal glory. This has perhaps made him a natural companion to Starscream, and he was not particularly eager to bring about the return of Megatron. When the lost Decepticon leader was found, he abandoned his fellow Decepticons at the first possible opportunity, hiding out in various emergency vehicle lots until he could make his way to the safety of an abandoned US military base. Highly intelligent, he has struck a deal with Starscream to seize control of the remaining Decepticons, destroy the Autobots and build their own private empire. Toward this end, the duo have begun gathering the surviving Decepticons and collecting as many newly-born Transformers as they can.

Abilities: Barricade is a talented starship pilot with a keen understanding of science and technology. His grasp of theoretical physics is on par with the best the Transformer race has to offer. In robot mode, his hands are strong enough to crush lesser Transformers in their grasp, making him a dangerous melee combatant. His left arm can extend to twice its usual length, increasing his reach but making the arm more vulnerable to damage. A double-barrelled laser cannon is stored behind his grille and is usable in both modes. In vehicle mode, he can accelerate swiftly to a top speed of 250 kph and is equipped with a ram cage that allows him to collide head-on with foes while taking little to no damage. To enhance the stealth of his vehicle mode, Barricade routinely changes his colour scheme to match local police forces.

Weaknesses: Barricade’s deceptive personality and generally untrustworthy demeanour make him unpopular among his fellow Decepticons.
________________________________________________

Name: Skydive
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Strategist
Alt-mode: F-22 Raptor
Primary Weapons: Laser-guided missile launchers (*6), gatling gun
Motto: " Only by studying the past can we win the present."

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 10
Speed: 9
Endurance: 7
Rank: 8
Courage: 7
Firepower: 8
Skill: 10

[Skydive is a redeco of Movie Starscream in the Aerialbot's G1 colour scheme, appearing in one of the TF Movie video games. To make him stand out a bit more, I'm using elements from both Starscream's CG model and the toy design. And just because I can, I've given him a head similar to Skydive's G1 toy (faceplate and whatnot).]

Profile: Skydive is one of the Autobots' most powerful, competent and dangerous warriors, but he is entirely oblivious to it. He would rather read about jet fighters than be one, and spends most of his free time studying the science and history of aerial warfare, as well as the reams of fiction humans have written on the topic. He is perhaps the most skilled pilot of all the Transformers, and can replicate any maneuver he sees or reads about...within the limits of his design. Quiet and unassuming, he isn't quite sure why Optimus Prime appointed him to replace the deceased Jazz as First Lieutenant upon his arrival on Earth, or why the Autobot leader trusts him to plot strategies for their entire group.

Formerly a member of the Decepticon air wing, Skydive resigned his commission and defected after Megatron made his grab for the Allspark. He was met with suspicion by his new comrades, but Optimus Prime always had faith in him. Skydive brought with him many military secrets that Megatron would never have allowed to fall into Autobot hands; without the intelligence that Skydive turned over, the Autobot success at Tyger Pax may not have been possible. However, many Autobots still believe that his past loyalty to Megatron makes him unreliable, and bristle at taking his orders.

Abilities: Skydive is a highly-talented pilot, with improvisational flight skills that are rivalled only by his ability to replicate historical manuevers. He is a skilled strategist and planner, capable of laying out detailed battle plans with a precision that makes Optimus Prime himself jealous. In vehicle mode, he can reach a maximum speed of Mach 2.6. He is equipped with an array of three laser-guided air-to-air missiles on each wing and a 20mm gattling gun that fires armour-piercing rounds capable of chewing through Transformer armour in seconds. In robot mode, he is exceptionally large with above-average strength. He can use his gattling gun as a rifle, and his missile launchers serve as forearm-mounted weapons.

Weaknesses: Skydive doesn't quite grasp the capabilities and limits of his design, causing him to occasionally over- or underestimate his abilities.
________________________________________________

Name: Wire Tap
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: Information gathering
Alt-mode: Cellular telephone
Primary Weapons: Sonic burst emitter
Motto: "Privacy is an illusion."

Strength: 1
Intelligence: 9
Speed: 2
Endurance: 2
Rank: 3
Courage: 10
Firepower: 7
Skill: 9

Profile: Devious and professional, Wire Tap is one of the Decepticons' best spies. Tiny enough to go undetected by all but the most observant Autobots, the newly-created Decepticon replaces Frenzy as the faction's top spy. Lacking the late Decepticon's manic persona and hyperactivity, Wire Tap is calm, collected and competent. Unfortunately, he's also very cocky; at his young age, he's run into very few people who can outsmart him. The rest of the Decepticons grudgingly tolerate him, which is moderately better than the dismissive contempt with which they address most of their other Real Gear recruits. The fact that he's actually very good at his job helps his standing among the other Decepticons, but the real reason they treat him so well is because Wire Tap makes no secret of the fact that he has very little interest in Decepticon ideology. He only bothers to come back from the missions he's sent on because he considers the Decepticons a dysfunctional family of sorts. As long as his family takes care of him, he'll take care of them. But if they don't, he's more than willing to seek out another family, perhaps even the Autobots.

Abilities: Wire Tap can interface with any computer, telephone or other piece of electronic technology he can find in short order, and can remotely hack any object with an active wireless connection from several miles distance unassisted. His audio speaker is intensely powerful, capable of emitting precisely-pitched sonic bursts that can shatter glass, crack armour, turn concrete blocks into rubble or blow out sensor arrays. In alternate mode, he can perfectly emulate the design of any cell phone he encounters, although he usually reverts to his default design as soon as he can. In robot mode, he is small enough to slip past virtually any security perimeter undetected.

Weaknesses: Using his sonic burst emitter burns up a significant slice of his fuel reserves, and Wire Tap's tiny physical form leaves him vulnerable to attack, even by humans. His lack of loyalty to the cause makes some Decepticons consider him expendable.

Name: Ratchet
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Medical Officer
Alt. Mode: Search and Rescue Hummer H2

STR:4
INT:9
SPD:6
END:9
RNK:5
CRG:10
FRP:3
SKL:10

History: Ratchet on Earth at the same time as Ironhide, Optimus Prime, and Jazz. Crash landing outside a local diner, he quickly scanned an emergency Hummer H2 vehicle and left to join up with the other Autobots. As the Autobots arrived in Mission City, they were attacked by Starscream, with the explosion crippling Bumblebee. At the same time, Devastator attacked the surviving human soldiers, prompting Ratchet and Jazz to engage the large Decepticon. As Jazz destroyed one of Brawl's rocket pods, Ratchet used his buzz saw to slice off the tank's left arm. Captain Lennox ordered Sam to take the All Spark to the rooftop of a nearby, run-down building so he could pass the cube to a military helicopter that would soon arrive. Ratchet and Ironhide volunteer themselves to protect Sam as he made his escape. Unfortunately, the villainous Starscream swooped down to block Sam's path, forcing the Autobots to engage him in a rather one-sided battle that saw the both of them knocked down. Later, as Optimus declared that Earth was their new home and that his team would be waiting for any surviving Autobots to gather there, Ratchet spent the remainder of the day observing Sam and Mikaela making out on the hood of Bumblebee's vehicle mode.

Biography: On a team made up only of the most courageous warriors from the planet Cybertron, Ratchet is probably the bravest. As the teams medic, he will charge across a battlefield, dodging laser fire and missiles, to reach an injured friend. He joined up with Optimus Prime not because he wanted to be a soldier, but because he believed the Autobots presented the last, best hope of preserving the universe against the evil of the Decepticons.

Abilities: Ratchet's weapons include a rotary saw that comes from his left arm and can transform his right arm into a machine gun. Ratchet also has an assortment of other tools at his disposal, such as a regenerative plasma laser. His roof rack can be used as a shield or combat stretcher.

Weaknesses: Ratchet is not a soldier, and needs the help of other Autobots in a fight.

__________________________________________________

Name: Cliffjumper
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Soldier
Alt. Mode: '09 Chevy Camaro concept

STR:7
INT:5
SPD:9
END:6
RNK:5
CRG:10
FRP:8
SKL:7

Note: Since I could find no information at all on the new Cliffjumper, I decided to revamp the old Cliffjumper into more of a seasoned warrior, and less of a klutz.

History: When Optimus Prime called for the Autobots to come to Earth, he was quick to act. When he reached Earth, he quickly grouped up with the Autobots.

Biography: Cliffjumper was once a young, naive Autobot, but time changes all things. With training, experience, and more training, Cliffjumper has now become a force to be reckoned with. He has experienced war and death first hand, he has become a seasoned soldier, and is no longer as foolish as he was when he was younger. He is a social guy, and makes the occasional joke. Even though old habits are hard to break, Cliffjumper has proven that he is bound to no habits. He is still the same old Cliffjumper, just older and wiser.

Abilities: Cliffjumper is equipped with a plasma cannon on his right arm, and a Gatling gun type gun on his left arm. He is also equipped with a bright, shiny blue, Optimus Prime like sword that extends from his right arm. With tons of training, Cliffjumper has increased his strength a considerable amount.

Weaknesses: Cliffjumper's biggest weakness, is that he sometimes will act like good old Cliffjumper. He also will act like a loner when the mood strikes his fancy.

Name: Can Dew
Affiliation: Autobot
Primary Weapon: Shrapnel launcher, soda cans that are also transformers (much like soundwave and blaster)
Alternate Mode: Mountain Dew soda machine
Function: Scientist/Medic
Motto: "YOU can't Do the Can DEW!"

Strength: 4
Intelligence: 10
Speed: 3
Endurance: 6
Rank: 4
Courage: 3
Firepower: 3
Skill: 10

Profile:

Can Dew was created by the Allspark, during the climatic fight for the control of the Allspark. He has a very laid back personality, and this fits him just fine. When other Autobots rush out to fight, he just "Dispenses" his "Dewbots", as he calls them, and lets them do all the work. Don't under estimate him though, behind that green metal exterior lies one of the smartest processing centers ever created. Since Can Dew is equipped with a beverage cooling system, he has the ability to keep his circuits from over heating. While other Autobots have to take a break to cool down, he's already cooled down. This makes him one of the smartest Autobots.

He is a reserved Autobot, prefering to think before he acts or speaks, but this won't stop him from making the quick joke here or there. Since he was created on Earth, and is so young, he sometimes feels left out of the conversations carried on by the other Autobots, but when ever he feels this way, he always feels better knowing that he has his good friend Wireless.

Can Dew do is a jack of all trades and master of more. He has great knowledge of engineering, math, language, combat, first-aid, and many sciences. He functions well in a lot of position, but prefers to stick to being a scientist/medic.

Can Dew tries to avoid getting directly into a fight, but when he does, he is equipped with a shrapnel launcher. This specialty weapon takes quarters or other pieces of metal he has collected, crushes them into tiny pieces of electrically charged pieces of metal, and launches them at the enemy.

Can Dew has a symbiotic relationship with four soda cans that are also transformers. They go by the names Original, Code Red, Livewire, and Pitch Black.

Original, in his alt. form, is a Mountain Dew can. Original is a natural leader. He will lead the 4-pack, as they're called, into the heat of battle, and is willing to sacrifice himself to save one of them. In robot mode, he is equipped with a wrist launchers that fire bullets filled with a liquid that will cause an enemies circuits to overload. Do to the upgrades made by Can Dew, his exoskeleton, as with all the other members of the 4-pack, is made of the same metal that all the other Autobots are made out of. Original is dedicated to his position as leader, and spends his free time playing games and listening to others problems.

Code Red, in his alt. form, is a can of Mountain Dew: Code Red. Code Red is the explosives and demolitions expert of the 4-pack. Code Red has a macho guy type of personality, and loves anything that is big, fast, shoots, or blows up. He is equipped with a wrist mounted laser cannon, and a shoulder mounted rocket launcher. In his free time, Code Red likes to train, and workout.

Livewire, in his alt. form, is a can of Mountain Dew: Livewire. Livewire is the scout of the 4-pack. He has a very hyperactive personality, always moving, and always ready for battle. The only time he ever can stay calm, is when he is in a firefight or working on anything to do with electrical engineering. He is equipped with a wrist mounted laser rifle, and a wrist mounted "shocker" gun, which delivers a powerful jolt of electricity, while it disables an enemies optical sensors. In his free time, Livewire likes to talk, and work on his electrical engineering projects.

Pitch Black, in his alt. form, is a can of Mountain Dew: Pitch Black. Pitch Black is a born soldier, and fills this position on the 4-pack with ease. Even though he is a soldier, Pitch Black likes to keep a clear head. He looks up to Can Dew a great deal, and is always learning from the world around him. He is equipped with a wrist mounted grappling hook, and carries a laser rifle. He is especially good at hand-to-hand combat, and can lift large amounts of weight. In his free time he likes to learn and study.

Note: Each Member of the 4 pack's size is about 10 feet tall because, unlike normal cans, they are completely solid allowing the expansion to their full size.

Booster X10

http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Booster_X10

BOOSTER X10 is a mean-spirited trickster with a talent for toying with people. Sophisticated hypersonics allow him to distort any audio signal, even simple speech. His favorite trick is to wait in his victim’s pocket and alter incoming sounds to cause accidents and arguments. He loves seeing how much trouble he can cause just by changing the sound of a word here, or making a racing ambulance sound like a barking dog.

BOOSTER X10, along with Dewbot, is one of Incinerator's spy minions. While Dewbot is stationary, BOOSTER X10 can transform into his condor mode and fly to speeds of Mach 2. His beak contains a spy camera and he can broadcast his signal to Dewbot and Incinerator.

History: One of the transformers that were created when the Allspark went haywire, Booster X10 was created from a MP3 player on a store's shelves, he plunged out of his packaging and flew off to cause havoc. When the Allspark was plunged into Megatron's chest, Megatron's Decepticon programming was broadcast to BoosterX10 and Dewbot, making them into a decepticon.

Biography: BOOSTER X10 is a mean-spirited trickster with a talent for toying with people.

Abilities: Audio Alteration, broadcasting and spying

Weaknesses: He's tiny, meaning he can be easily broken, but yet easily repaired, sorta like Waspinator.

Less WIP...

http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Longarm_%28Movie%29
Game body,toy head.

Name: Longarm
Faction: Autobot
Alt: Ford F-350 Tow Truck
Function:Melee Warrior/Combat Corps
Motto: "Need a hand?"

Strength: 9
Intelligence: 8
Speed: 5
Endurance: 8
Rank: 4
Courage: 7
Firepower: 6
Skill: 7

Longarm is a strong willed, boisterus and occasionally rude autobot. Not among the fastest in either speed or thinking,is a bit of metal head. His rudeness comes from the misunderstanding that he is just frontline cannon fodder, and therefore lacks intelligence for anything outside of taking orders. He can be a bit of a complainer, but usually just to himself.Although he has his days with the top brass,he is very willing to sacrifce himself for the autobot cause, and if any other mech is severly damaged in battle or in risky situations, will run in to take both flak and try to get the 'bot out.

Longarm is a very competent melee combatant, and uses his telescoping arm and his hook to devastating effect. He often uses it as a hookshot, pulling a robot in for devastaing sparring moves or to rip open armor to get up close and personal to the sparks. His weakness is distance,he is not particurly accurate with firearms and is more likely to blow a foot off,so he can be kept away with heavy fire or quick sporadic bursts.Another weakness is his wrecker hook tends to stay attatched to the object in question, and can only be ripped off physically,or if the line is cut.Or he loses the arm completely.

Weapons: Telescoping arm, hook, fists, and a rarely used semi-auto quagma rifle.

History: Longarm is one of the closer 'straggler' autobots who had to play catch up to get to Earth. He is of the last generation made on Cybertron before the All Spark was sent into space, which also makes him among the youngest and 'inexpierenced' troopers in the current group.Outside of the Real Gears. He has fought on the front lines since little after his birth, and has known nothing but battle. That, and a bit of space travel.

Stockade

Name: Stockade
Faction: Decepticon
Alt: S7 SUV
Function: Berserker/Spy
Motto: "Decepticon is Law.Law is Decepticon."

Strength: 10
Intelligence: 4
Speed: 5
Endurance: 8
Rank: 4
Courage: 3/7
Firepower: 8
Skill: 7

Stockade is only able to take the simplest of commands, due to his dual identities. He can sit paitently for hours at a time, often spying on the high level agents of both autobots and humans.Since he is a hunter at heart, will sometimes grow very impaitent when his prey is close and unaware, and that will send him into his berserker rage, thus making all his time spent stalking go up in smoke.Though invaluable on the battlefield, his other abilities are not often used due to the problem of going berserk at inoppertune moments.

His primary battle function is to be sent into the thick of things, thus replacing Bonecrusher as a heavy fighter. He often comes in with only his arm cannon, energy axe and his rage.He picks up whatever is dropped, and even in his rage, can use them compentently, from guns to limbs. His loyalty is to the Decepticon cause only, and does not care who leads. He takes orders from only those of higher rank then himself, which with the power struggles in the decepticon hiearchy makes him a bit of a wild card.He is a pawn and often doesn't relize it,and even if he did, wouldn't care. His one tendency to go off and destroy things means he has to be kept under survaillence at most times.

He despises humans, and will at any oppertunity outside of base, try to raise havok in small communities or cause mayham on the highways and freeways. He hunts police for sport, and is always on the edge of revealing the still powerful decepticon threat. The only other things beside Humans and Autobots he despises are Real Gears, who he has yet to see be useful in combat. His intelligence is also up for debate,as he is capable of complicated schemes, and occasionly understanding some of the other decepticons deeper thoughts, but rarely has the attention span to go through with them, unless on the Hunt.

Weapons: Axe and arm cannon.Cannon may have the possiblility of several modes, though have yet to be put into use.

Weakness:He overheats easily and uses large amounts of energy when he does go berserk, and his joints freeze up on him often afterwords. When berserk,he does not notice wounds, fatal or otherwise. Also, his brute stupidity can often be worked against him.

History: He is among the newest transformers, born on Earth. It really does not make him all that more different then the Real Gears (As he pretty much counts as one),but he still see's himself as far different then them,as he is so much bigger. The Decepticons quickly took him in and gave him rudimentary skills. They also gave him no specific mecha to be loyal too, hence why he is only loyal to the Regime.Because of this,Decepticon Law is the only law,and he see's fleshling lawmen as infedels of sorts. His split personality is born from roles learned from his favored Decepticons, and his brash,if simplified, and somewhat effective fighting forms. The chance of one taking over,or them fusing may just make him all the more deadly to humans and his enemies.

NAME: SHOCKWAVE
ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON
FUNCTION: MILITARY OPERATIONS COMMANDER
VEHICLE MODE: TANK, FIXED TURRET

Strength: 10
Intelligence: 10
Speed: 5
Endurance: 9
Rank: 8
Courage: 9
Firepower: 10
Skill: 9

"Clarity of thought before rashness of action."

Profile: Of all the Decepticons, Shockwave's method of operation is most characterized by the cold, brutal efficiency one would expect of a purely mechanical being. He's been referred to as a "computer on legs", and enters every battle not with the bloodlust of his comrades, but with a scientist's approach to solving a problem. The problem is always the same: How can he use his abilities to most effectively eliminate the greatest number of his enemies, the Autobots? All too often he finds the answer. Some may view his logical, passionless approach to everything as a serious hinderance, but his cold and calculating modus operandi is supported by his frightening and exceptionally powerful form. Shockwave is possibly even more powerful than Megatron, to whom he appears to be loyal. While plans to usurp the emotion-fuelled leadership were stalled by Megatron's disappearance(one cannot effectively fight an idea, after all), Megatron's death has cleared the way for the most logical candidate for the job. Shockwave.

Abilities: Shockwave's total command of the electromagnetic spectrum allows him, in his fixed turret tank mode, to emit a coruscating beam of energy in a wide variety of forms: high-energy explosive gamma rays, x-rays that allow him to see through almost anything, blinding visible light, super-hot infrared rays and radio waves that can either send messages or jam other radio signals are but a few of the weapons in Shockwave's arsenal. Unlike the rest of the Decepticons, Shockwave decided that, logically, the loss of firepower that would come in adapting to an Earth mode would be unacceptable. Therefore, using the wonderous fact of military hacking, he simply inserted himself into the US armaments database as an experimental anti-aircraft cannon. In vehicle mode, he can, for limited periods, attain sprint speeds of upwards of Mach 5. The boosters, in robot mode, allow him flight capabilities.

Weaknesses: Shockwave's wave-emission power, as well as his flying and turbo-sprint speeds in vehicle mode, is limited by his high fuel consumption. Although he uses the same type of liquid fuel as his fellow Transformers, he can also use radioactive fuels in the small fission reactor within his torso, which substantially eliminates his liquid fuel dependency problem, but adds the problem of discreetly disposing the spent fuel. Although his logical brain center is usually an advantage, more intuitive and emotional thinking processes often confound him, particularly when his adversary is human.

NAME: IRONHIDE
ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT
FUNCTION: HEAVY WEAPONS COMBAT SPECALIST, "TOOTH FAIRY"
VEHICLE MODE: GMC TOPKICK 4x4 MODIFIED

Profile:

AUTOBOT weapon specialist and old-fashioned warrior, IRONHIDE is the big stick that backs up the soft steps of OPTIMUS PRIME. Paint scarred and chrome chipped by shrapnel from hundreds of battles, he is the oldest of the AUTOBOTS. His right hip is a mass of bypasses and temporary solutions, his power core and timing system are irregular, and his idle is set way too high; but his optics are the sharpest on CYBERTRON, and his cannon arm is as steady as ever. OPTIMUS PRIME relies on him for tactical advice and a cool head, whether or not that advice is what OPTIMUS PRIME wants to hear. As long as they keep making missiles compatible with his cannons, he’ll keep fighting, until every last DECEPTICON is a smoldering wreck.

Abilities:

IRONHIDE's got more firepower than most third world countries. Concentrated in the massive multipurpose cannons mounted on his arms, they fire a combination of missiles, rockets, chemicals, photon mortars..... Easily adaptable to almost any type of munitions, the shorter list may well be of what they won't fire. He can even combine the two cannons to form a massive cannon, capable of delivering a potentially planet-shattering blast. To back up the heavy weapons and his generally berzerker personality, IRONHIDE's skin is a tritanium-ultramantium alloy, allowing him to take a great deal of punishment.

Weaknesses:

Mainly, his age. IRONHIDE's been around for so long that most of his jury-rigged repairs are what keep him going, and while his skin has allowed him to absorb amazing amounts of damage over the years, his internal mechanisms aren't as sound as they used to be. The recoil from his combined cannon is enough to completely cripple him, and after the last time he used it, protestations of the planet being about to blow up anyway aside, OPTIMUS PRIME has forbidden it's use.
As a professional tanuki (I'm a Japanese mythological animal, and a good luck charm), I have an alarm clock built into me somewhere. I also look like a stuffed animal. And you thought your life was tough......

Name: Avalanche
Function: Scout
Alt. Mode: Chevrolet Avalanche (SUV and pickup modes available)
Allegiance: Autobot

STR: 9
INT: 8
SPD: 6
END: 5
RNK: 4
CRG: 5
FRP: 2 (close combat 8)
SKL: 7

History: A lone Autobot mecha scout followed the path of The Ark and arrived on Earth near the Grand Canyons National Park. Disguising himself by scanning a passing Chevrolet Avalanche, from which he took his Earth designation, he quickly encountered one of Mainframe’s drone patrols, leading to a brief and violent slaughter. After necessarily destroying the evidence, shocked by the continued failure of his self-control, Avalanche retreated into hiding. When Optimus Prime sent his call to come to Earth, Avalanche made his way to the new Autobase, and presented himself and his report. Expecting reprimand for his aggression, he was instead offered the opportunity to better himself by helping to protect the Autobots’ human contacts.

Biography: No one would really like to annoy Avalanche; once roused to anger he is an almost unstoppable force. His tendency to berserker rage led to his marginalisation by Autobot commanders on Cybertron, much to his shame, and he has spent considerable time trying to learn how to control it. The fear of accidently hurting his friends has perforce made him into a loner. His tendency to terseness has often resulted in him being mistaken for downright rude. A survivor of Tyger Pax, he owes the Decepticons big time, which can significantly affect his better judgement.
It is a little known fact that, at Tyger Pax, Avalanche acquitted himself with honour, engaging the enemy selflessly and saving countless wounded Autobots, despite his own severe injuries.

Abilities: Avalanche has both intelligence and strength, making him a formidable opponent, but his anger management problem has held him back from advancement. Technically, he is a triple-changer, since he can convert from a SUV to a pickup. His signature ability is a limited-use deflector shield that bounces attacks back to the originator whilst heavily minimising or negating any damage received. Weaponry consists of an energon blade extending from each wrist and the ability to generate sonic pulses to devastate an opponent’s circuitry, which are most effective at close range. His reconnaissance skills are valued for the clarity of information he obtains.

Weaknesses: Avalanche is clever and extremely strong, a stalwart in any battle, but his failure to bring his temper under control can make him dangerous to friends as well as foes. He has to engage closely in combat, which can leave him vulnerable to ranged attacks, against which he can only initiate defensive capabilities. His rages may deplete his on-demand power reserves to such an extent that he may ‘lock-up’ until his main batteries restore full functionality.

Please advise if anything requires alteration!

Name: Siren
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Search and Rescue
Alt. Mode: White and Red Peterbilt Firetruck

STR: 8
INT: 7
SPD: 5
END: 9
RNK: 5
CRG: 10
FRP: 7
SKL: 7

History: Siren arrived at Earth in protoform mode, landing in a wood, near a human motorway. He was lucky enough to arrive at night, but suddenly a nearby bang picked his attention. Two cars had crashed, and one of the vehicles had exploded. Risking being discovered, Siren rescued the remaining car, but he was most impressed when he discovered the small and fragile creatures inside the machine.
Shocked, he gently put the car on the road again – far from the fire – and hid again in the woods when he heard a lot of sirens aproaching the scene.
The Autobot watched as human firetrucks and ambulances took charge of the situation, and decided to adopt the form of a big red and white firetruck.
He also made his decision of trying to protect the small and fragile creatures at all costs, because if the decepticons could destroy the Autobots in battle, the Allspark only knew what they could do the the humans.

Biography: Kind but silent, Siren enjoys peace and natural wonders. He likes to observe, to listen and to think, but he can also make a laugh with his fellows Autobots at any time. Reserved in nature, Siren hated the mindless destruction caused by the Decepticons, especially Bonecrusher. In time he and the deceptcion quickly become direct rivals, with Siren cleaning the debris that caused Bonecrusher, trying to save the transformers trapped in the ruins.
But with his world destroyed by war, Siren left Cybertron and travelled alone across the galaxy, tired of war and trying to seek peace while searching for new wonders. He quickly become depressed, thought, feeling that he was lost, without any purpose in life and nowhere to return. Then he received Optimus Prime’s call.
With a renewed hope he adopted a protoform mode to travel once again across the stars, and Siren set course to his leader’s call origin: a planet called Earth.

Abilities: Siren is one of the biggest Autobots, at least as tall as Optimus Prime. He is built basically for heavy duty: search, rescue, firefighter... He used his skills in Cybertron during the war as a rescuer and now he has adapted them to Earth pretty well. Siren is strong, durable, brave and capable. He is armed with a dual machine gun mounted on his left forearm and a micro-missile launcher on his right shoulder. He also has an extinguisher rifle on his right forearm that shoots diferent kind of flame-suppressors liquids and foams. In addition, he can retract his hands and deploy different kind of tools, such a pile driver, cable tow or a buzzaw.

Weaknesses: Tired of war, Siren is a slow Autobot. His alternate mode is heavy and slow, and he is too bulky in robot mode. This, and the fact that in this adopted new world Siren’s first priority is to protect human life, means that sometimes he puts aside his current mission if he can try to save lifes.

The first movie fan made. WOOT!

Name: Soundwave
Function: Strategist/Analyst/Commander
Allegiance: Decepticon
Alt Mode: Armet Armoured Vehicles Balkan MK6 armoured car
Reference Picture

STR: 6
INT: 10
SPD: 9
END: 8
RNK: 9
CRG: 7
FRP: 3
SKL: 10

History: Soundwave’s past is almost as long as Megatron’s. One his earliest supporters, and most loyal, Soundwave stuck by the leader as he rose to power, quickly becoming Megatron’s right hand bot. His downfall came when he started believing himself more powerful than Megatron, and tried to lead a coup against the bot. After losing, he was left for dead and remained in stasis lock for several millennia before colliding with a satellite sent to explore the stars (Voyager 1). Recognising the technology it contained he swiftly assimilated the probe, repairing himself with the material on hand before tracing it back to Earth. He hoped to restore himself in Megatron’s eyes, only to learn upon arrival that Megatron had been defeated. He’s been lying low, analysing the humans and the Decepticons. Irked that someone has taken over his rightful place as second in command, he will wrest control from Starscream, one way or another.

Profile: A cool, calculating robot, when he speaks he doesn’t repeat himself. He seems to have eyes everywhere and rarely misses a thing. Highly intelligent and loyal only to Megatron, he harbours a hatred of Starscream for stealing his place and often clashes with him. He considers himself better than all robots, with the exception of Megatron, and looks at them only as slaves and pawns.

Weapons/Abilities: Soundwave’s guiding aspect is his nodal CPU. With several processor interconnected he possesses a great intellect. His comm. system can intercept and transmit any frequency. He constantly trawls the internet, learning more about humans every second. His cunning mind makes him a master strategist and manipulator; he’s secretly blackmailed several wealthy people to provide funding for his operation. Like all Transformers he can interface with computers, unlike the rest it’s almost impossible to detect him. In vehicle mode he’s quite fast and very armoured. Both modes possess a full scanner array.

Weaknesses: Soundwave prefers to avoid direct combat, leaving it the dumber Decepticons. He possesses relatively few weapons beyond his fists. In robot mode an EM Cannon sits on his shoulder, capable on inducing large electrical currents in any metal object he wants. In robot mode he’s unarmed. His arrogance can be exploited if one is careful.
