Roadblock continued to roll forward thinking of places where a secrity center would be.

He looked to Bombshock and his humaniod form pointed to what looked like security building.

He waited to see if the Military Squad member shared his idea.

Cyrotek heard Gigatron's exclamition and stopped mid-run.

"Well if we slagged all the Quints I guess we don't need to be quite as worried then." He said slowing doing and finding a termainal he hacked it and brought up a map of the castle in his systems and found the nearest med-bay.

"Gigatron, I managed to find a working terminal in the castle. There has been little resistance though. I am sending you the image and if you wish you may send it to our forces." He spoke into his com-link to the Decepticon leader.

Industrial District

Wingspan fluttered down and hopped through the door and into the lobby of the SEMIT tower,

Airwave looked at the Plasma Energies dying away with relief. He leaned forward with his hands on his knees, and let out a massive sigh.
Calling up his old data files, Airwave looked into viable drop points for the inbound autobot ship. He sent a broadcast on an open frequency to the commander of the ship Fizzle:
"Steelhaven, this is ATC Airwave: there is a runway capable of taking a ship your size a klik south of Darkmount: if you're landing here, that would be the best place. I will transmit your vector and codes to the command there to ensure safe arrival."

Darkmount: Corridors
Nautilus shrugged his shoulders.
he had wanted to say, What evers going on, we'd better get on with the task at hand commander, but felt that might be over familial enough for Scorponok to take offence at. And, he thought while looking at those huge pincers, I don't want to offend this guy.
With the shrug alone, Nautilus took point and carried on up the corrdior.

Darkmount: Throne Room

Gigatron's throne was surrounded by holographic monitors displaying a half-dozen technicians chatting reports at him all at once. He handled them smoothly, dealing with each one in turn, but when Cryotek joined the mass of calls, he sidelined the others to speak with him.

"Excellent, Cryotek. See if you can use the console to get the castle's computer network back online. Once that's done, reset security protocols, transmit the information to command officers, and report to my chamber. You and I must discuss rebuilding."

Gigatron took a moment to forward Cryotek's image throughout the city before returning to his flurry of calls.

Darkmount: Corridors

Scorponok glowered at Nautilus' back, having intercepted his body language. He mulled over scrapping him anyway once they'd secured the command center...

Zenith: Constructors' Lab

The long climb was arduous, but Excavator didn't care. He'd made it. However, his work was far from done. He dropped his crate of body parts on the floor in a corner of the dark, dusty lab, and genially set Stonecruncher's body next to it. Excavator went to work on a computer terminal, accessing backup power to bring on the room's lighting and interface systems. With order restored, Excavator began perusing Hammer's database, looking for a particular set of specifications.

He went about the task knowing that Wingspan was following him, but he didn't much care. He didn't know how to care anymore.

Wingspan surveyed the trail of footprints in the dust leading up the stairs. Slowly he made his way upthem.

Cryotek sat down at the terminal and looked at it and began working intently.

He could see the power systems in the castle were messed but but if he did things right he could get the castle back online on a mix of reserve and primary power which would allow the engineers time to get the main power systems back up to one hundred percent.

His hands became a blur as he started coding and reworking the system.

Vindicator watched as The plasma Energy fell back on itself. "Scorponok it appears the threat is no more."

As Vindicator listened to Gigatron's words he looked over the shattered landscape and saw there was alot of clean up to be done. Something he did not want to be apart of.

"Scorponok ,Permission to take up a guard possion at the front entrance to the Castle?"

Darkmount: Corridors

"Granted," Scorponok grumbled in reply to Vindicator. In truth, he appreciated the assertiveness, but he didn't want anyone knowing that. "Report any suspicious activity to me."

Scorponok clicked off the channel and looked ahead at his walking companion. Their destination was just ahead. "Nautilus, take point in checking the command center for threats."

Zenith: Constructors' Lab

Excavator could hear the echo of metallic footfalls in the hollow tubular stairwell for the last fifteen floors of Wingspan's descent. When he estimated the Clone was nearing the lab, Excavator absently tapped a key to open the door, not looking away from his research.

Zenith Constructors lab

Wingspan slowed as the door slid open in front of him and then cautiously entered the room weapons at the ready.

He looked around and spotting Excavator walke dslowly towards him.

Bombshock would just shrug back at Roadblock, either not caring or just undecided about the choice. He seemed like he still might be brooding over their missed chance to have sent Breaker to the scrap pile.

Zenith: Constructors' Lab

Excavator glanced blankly at Wingspan from the stool at his computer terminal. For the first time, it was apparent just how sad he'd become in the slight desperation seeping through his otherwise stony gaze. It was a perfect match for the state of decay his armor was in, scorched and scratched and covered in congealed grease. This was the image of misery.

Excavator nodded toward the monitor in front of him, where Wingspan could see the designs Hammer had once drawn up for the next evolution of Micromaster. It was sleek and mighty and mean.

He had a plan.

Darkmount: Throne Room

With his orders given, Gigatron clicked off the last of his channels instructing the engineers on reconstruction priorities. For a moment, all was a quiet, a rare pleasure for the Decepticon leader. He sat for a moment to bask in his throne, rising finally to march across the chamber and out onto the front balcony overlooking the city. From this height he could see everything in Polyhex and most of Cybertron's southern hemisphere. Fires raged, and much of the planet was in total blackout.

None of that could obscure what he saw - a landscape once again blanketed with purple banners and symmetric divisions marching perfectly in grid like the molecules of a crystal. Soon, so soon it would be again.

One of the engineers fulfilled Gigatron's first order, and the backlights of the ten-story Decepticon logo on the tower behind him flashed on, silhouetting the symbol the way the lights of the throne room silhouetted Gigatron's hulking frame. He took the moment to simply be; for in the next, he would conquer.
