Ah you're thinking of the Not so large Scroponok from the comics - Nah if you're going to enslave - Do it the right way - Massive abuse of power Send the City :D

Why not Shockwave? Or Soundwave. Or Sixshot. Or Scorponok, like Ozz said. These four would have made much better choices than a Conehead. Oh well, at least they got Thunderwing.

Sixshot would have been cool. He did work for Galvatron in "Rebirth"

I'm a big Thunderwing fan too, so I'll be glad to see him in new action. I hope he doesn't just make a quick-show-and-he's-off type of appearance.

Yeah, Thunderwing's my third favorite con. He's right behind RID Scourge, and Shockwave. Also, I got him in the decepticon leader personality test.

Yeah, I got to see some early prints of those at OTFCON. (got to hang out with Pat Lee as well as Don Sunday night :D )

Also got to see the test-coloring pages for the comic depicting Galvatron. (No dialogue on any of the pages)

Dunno if they're floating around the net or not, but I don't want to say anything until they are. (kinda promised Don. ;) )

I WILL say, when that issue comes out---pay close attention to the picture of Starscream a few pages in. Saying it doesn't get changed first... :glance:

Just got it today. And no, I don't think the panel got changed. But the coloring hid it well--if you look at it far away, you'd think Starscream was just pointing at Megatron, right?

Well, according to Ben Yee's review of Armada #14, the conehead is Dirge.

Probably because they're a recognizeable name\figure that hasn't been used in armada (following that logic, the character is Dirge)

Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker are all used with characters (all repaints\remolds of the same character)
Thrust - obviously
and Ramjet is the Minicon who is partnered with Tidal wave

I don't think the name Dirge has shown up - So I'll bet it's him :D

Hey, would you look at that, I was right :D
life is good :D

Looks very sweet. Might even convince me to buy the four-issue arc.
