[Original RPG] Divided Loyalties - C4 : Clash of the titans (Rodimus & Optimus)

It was a sound like no transformer had ever heard before, nor any that heard it desired to again.

In Prime's eagerness to destroy his target using the full force of the matrix, he had failed to notice Springer's advance to his most hated advisary.

The power from the matrix tore through Springer's body like a hot-knife through butter. But the death was not instant. The cylindrical blast tore through the right side of Springer's torso.

He remained on his feet until the damage shut him offline. He looked around, his cerebro cortex acknowledged the pain, but refused to make any more comment.

Sixshot stared at Springer in sheer dis-belief that he was still standing. He could clearly see the internal working of Springer, a sight no other transformer should ever be party to in Sixshot's opinion.

The lower right-side of Springer's head was missing, his right arm dis-integrated. The entire mid-riff had become one with non-existence.

Then the body hit the ground, not with a usual clanking metal sound, but hollow, lifeless.

Emotionless.

A casualty of a war he was never meant to win.

[Quick Switch]

Quick Switch turned, and witnessed Springer's destruction.

"That's...horrible," he stammered. As he watched the cocky Triple Changer's body fall to the ground, the Six Changer turned away.

Thunderwing witnessed Springer's end. At first, he stood silent.

Then, he spoke in his ringing aristocratic registry:

"Well done Optimus Prime! Well done, indeed! And people call me the tyrant!"

And then Thunderwing laughed.

The laugh of a madman.

"Now you see Quick Switch? See what your precious Optimus Prime capable of?!"

Grimlock tussled with the two seekers, eventually casting Skywarp off one arm and dropping Thundercracker to the ground.

"He no better than any decepticon..."

Grimlock lifted his Energo sword high into the air and plunged in deep into Thundercracker's chest, killing him instantly
