I'm definitely out of the loop. When did the Transmetal II Cheetor redo come out?

Can't go wrong with Dragon Megs. The "transport" mode is... well, you don't get that figure for that mode unless you're insane.

Edit: Ahh, 2001 Wal-Mart exclusive. *adds to "when there is money for eBay fluff" list*

Yeah, I didn't really know of its existence until it was in those IDW comics a while back either. Definitely an awesome repaint though, it looks a million times better than the original, in my opinion. A little pricey though, as far as that size range of figure goes. Not sure what the missus paid for this one, but I know they can go for well over $30 on eBay for a MOSC one, which this one was MOSC when I got it.

Picked up the big Devastator on clearance for $40. They didn't really move at $75 or $60, but once marked down to $40 they all but disappeared in a few days - I got the last one.

It's not all that great. Potentially fun for munching on Legends figures, but aside from that, it can't really do much.

Size difference aside, the Legends version is really designed much better, and greatly benefits from the seventh figure. Using Scavenger's arms for part of the gestalt arms both gets them out of the way and gives the combiner a longer reach, whereas the big one has to have the fold-out shoulder bits and ends up with a tail. Mixmaster actually breaking apart and stretching over the hump also helps the look of the torso, whereas the big one is just a big chunky box with limbs.

On Wednesday I got Universe Treadbolt, he was half price at TRU so I picked him up. However something just does not feel quite right about the figure, maybe its the comination of blue and brown on a mold thats very recognisably Jetfire or the way all the extra parts come together or the arkward way the arms sit under the jet mode, I don't know but whatever it is I'm just not quite as endeered toward him as other figures and I'm left with the niggleing doubt that I should've bought Animated Wreck Gar instead.

Got the rest of my birthday haul in the mail today, thanks to my wife, Denyer, and Savanahtron..thank you guys ;)

My wife got me Alternators Shockwave, which is just freaking awesome! Also came with the Grimlock KO, which if the transformation is exactly like the actual figure, I'm not so sure I want it anymore. I also received some Go-Bots and some sort of Light Tan figure I assume, all very cool!

And thanks to Savanahtron I now have Beast Wars Grimlock, yay! Hopefully he doesn't disintegrate or fall apart from GPS while I'm looking at it

No problem. My bday is in May :)

Anyway, didn't I tell you it was in great shape (sans the little connector gold plastic syndrome) ? Hheheh.

Dually noted! Yeah, it is in really nice shape, if all else fails and it crumbles down the road though I have a contingency plan anyway. I'll just get a reissue Dinobot and replace all the gold parts with good strong parts, and repaint them to match the original gold ;)

It is a great figure, the only problem I have is the size of his ears make transformation tricky but other than that it's all good. I also really like his colour. Oh and I hope you had a good day.

I found that my walmart had Animated Deluxe figures for only $5 dollars, the choices were limited to either Freeway Jazz or Electrostatic Soundwave though... I picked up Soundwave with Ratbat.

Not a Transformer but I wanted it and it was Mecha, I got the Avatar AMP Suit as well. It's quite detailed and has some decent articulation, albeit quite stiff.

I'll try to remember and get a picture of it up.
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

Yay. I bought six transformers today.

I got two more of the micromasters that make sixliner... only 3 more to go
plus i got scalpel(the doctor)

also i got three half price(£9.99) voyager figures: animated skywarp and shockwave(of which local shop the entertainer has literally 30 odd of left) and last universe figure left in one of my local comic shops heavy tread. i was going to get arcee and skids instead, but im sure ill get another shot at buying movie toys, not so much heavy tread.

now i just need a translation for the micrmasters booklet...

Seems to work just fine on mine, as long as I remember to turn the head backwards when transforming to car mode. The first time though it did pop off on me, little minor thing though really, it is an awesome figure overall :)

Got Universe Blaster from TRU at half price $9.97. I would much prefer if he is Cybertron Soundwave and he is okay, too. Right foot has some miss paint that I think I have to correct myself.

Also got Classics Megatron from eBay. Shipping is on the way. The owner claimed he was in the gun mode all the time. Will see.

I would like to confirm that ROTF Deluxe Ratchet is OUT in the US. He didn't seem that interesting so I didn't bother picking him up. Plus, I'm almost broke. Sorry, no pics at the moment. I will take pics ASAP to confirm. Hopefully tomorrow when I stop by Target.:halo:

I finally gave in and bought this playset. The Igear Computer Control Center (Teletran-1 inside the Ark) I wish they had made this back in the 1980's with the release of the original G1 figures! This thing is huge! It's over 2 ft., 5 inches long and 10 inches tall!

Yes it's alittle pricy, and the pieces don't snap together very tightly and the stickers aren't very sticky and come off easy. BUT>>>>

This minor issues can be overcome with a little dap of super glue on the stickers, and some smaller self-stick velcro on the backside. It really helped make the pieces more sturdy. Here's the pics with G1 figures in it:

That play set looks really nice, if I had the money and the room I'd buy one myself. It would have been awesome if they had that back in the 1980's.

I still own a lot of my TF's that my parents bought me back in 1984 and 1985. And I've collected some more over the last few years since 2002.

WE <3 THUMBNAILS. Especially when you're linking a ton of photos.

That said, I really need to pick up that playset. That's pretty kickass.
