Wal*Mart exclusive "Movie" Crankcase, Breakaway and Decepticon Fracture out

Post by Nevermore »

Crankcase is a redeco of Cybertron Red Alert.
Breakaway is a redeco of Cybertron Hot Shot and an homage to G1 Getaway (Hasbro couldn't get the name).
Decepticon Fracture is a redeco of Classics Mirage and an homage to the Gobot Crasher (Hasbro couldn't get that name either).

As long as Fracture doesn't have much, if any, "Allspark blue" on it, I may get it for the mold. The rest I'll pass.
Got a complaint?

Crasher and Getaway are MINE.
No longer looking for RID Dreadwind, but I still need Smokejumper. I'm also in need of Mammoth Nemesis Prime's tail piece, as my figure lacks it. Send me a PM.

It will make a change if we do.
Remember all the G1 deco MP Starscreams they got in?
No me neither.
Asda do not seem to get any Walmart exclusives despite being owned by Walmart.

I'd get Fracture if I see these around. I like the remake of a Gobot idea. Pretty sweet. ;)

And the best bit is - it's never been done before!

:swirly:

Seriously, though, I love the Crasher homage. I keep fighting with myself as to whether I should (and can afford to) track it down or not... (Crasher always made it well into my battles as a wain - there were no divisions between Gobots and Tranformers in those days either, as far as I was concerned!)

[I actually think I enjoy RID Daytonus hugely because of a perceived similarity to Crasher... that Renegade serious influenced me it seems...]

Dude! I never though of that! How sweet would it be if they repainted Daytonus as a Legends version of Fracture?!

I miss all my Gobots. I used to have a ton of 'em when I was younger. But they fell apart, and now I have none. :( Guess I'll have to remedy that. :)

I remember seeing Big Daddy and I feel I should have picked him up for just his name's comedic value. Sadly I didn't, I seem to find better things at Kmart anymore and sometimes with lower prices (i.e. iof the box is dented, demand a discounted price). Still, good luck to anyone who wants em and can get em all.

Oddly enough, my Wal-Mart is still flooded with Jolts and Divebombs.

I'm usually pretty good at ignoring the moviebot line. I just don't like that style. But I just happen to be made aware of these redecos. Now I want to get Crankcase and Breakaway. Fracture looks good too, of course, but I have Mirage and I'm not in the habit of getting multiples.

With the repaints having a tendency to show up in the Titan comic we now have a very real chance of seeing Starscream and Crasher have that big queen bitch slapping contest we've all be waiting for.

Reign of Starscream is only to get rid of Movieverse toys that ain't gonna come out in other sequels.

With all the 'Microcontinuities' in Movieverse, no wonder we're confused.

Aye. I've also heard of "time," "workspace" and "tools." I'd need those other three words as well. "Tools" and "paint" I can probably scrounge up, but the other two are a bit out of reach right now. :(

I'd also have to find a way to get rid of "lazy." I gots too much of that lying around. :p

Told one of my friends that I'd make a GI Joe version of him, but I still haven't gottwen to it yet . . . his pestering me didn't help when I was on vacation and probably could've squeezed in time to actually do it.

I told him when I said I'd do it that it would take a bit of time since I didn't have time and space to actually do it in, and it's not like he's paying me for it.
