From what i understand, the knock-off is pretty faithful to the original. The generation 2 dinobots were released in grey prior to their recoloring.

As far as I know, the only differences between the G2 dinobots and the G1 ones (other than the faction symbols/lack of rubsign) is that the G2 ones don't come with the missile launchers

Yes, obviously there was only an MP Optimus release with a trailer because of an online fan petition. Man, it's a neat coincidence that they originally built him with a place for the trailer to attach, isn't it, if they didn't intend for a trailer from the start.
