Free comics are awesome. Free Blackest Night comics are even more awesome. Looks like Aquaman, J'onn J'onzz and Batman are going to be Black Lanterns. Man I cannot wait for July to get here. Oh and Wizard had a pic of Hal as an Orange Lantern, which if you've read the last issue of GL you should be...

That's so cool- I just watched the Destoyah movie two nights ago. sort of going through a mini Gojira phase...it was kind of sad to see him die at the end, but at least the torch was passed....

Any pics?

Many, many happy returns, bro.

And when the wifey gives you the ultimatum of "it's either YOU or the TOYS", I can give you my mailing address, postage paid.

Action Figure Spotlight: DC Direct Green Lantern Series 3 Cyborg Superman Get your plastic on and enjoy the ride, fellow GL’s- we got another winner here with Hank Henshaw, one of the most unlucky bastards in the DC Universe. Emerging out of the “Reign of the Supermen” arc from years ago, Henshaw wa...

Quick update: Got the following GL figures- Cyborg Superman, Manhunter, Emerald Shield Hal Jordan, and DC Universe Sinestro in the Yellow Corps Uniform variant. More than likely, I will be reviewing some of these in the not-to-distant future.

What was your most important/favorite single comic issue for 2008?

Just curious what everyone thought was their favorite single issue of any comic they happened to be reading for 2008. Any publisher, any title, whatever your fancy was in a single issue. For me, it was Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns because, even though it was tied to the Final Crisis event ...

Congrats, Kali. I tried quitting about 2 months ago with the patch, and I made it for 5 days until a work situation just freaked me out and the only way I could deal with it was to take a walk and have a smoke. I also lost my job about 3 weeks ago, so times are tough.....however, I still have an uno...

Have ordered a couple of Lego sets. Imperial Dropship and Peril in peru for me, and Kings Castle Seige and Skeleton Battle Pack for my partner. If the Imperial Drop Ship you are refering to is the one that came out last year, it is pretty swank- I had fun assembling it and the end result is quite c...

"Family Matter" suspicion confirmed... Sinestro is Natu's papa Cover is a bit misleading, though- Even though it is ****ing cool just for being Sinestro, he only appears on the last damn page of the issue. Damn, can Sodam Yat hold a parental grudge or what? It's good to see Arkillo back in...

Excellent. Am I going to be completely lost when this event hits? Because I hadn't read much outside of Superman comics when Infinite Crisis hit, and I was decently confused. Is there a TPB of recent GL stuff that I can get caught up? Son, you just made my night  One of the reasons I started re...

Damn, I've been out of it for a long time (mostly for monetary problems, cause I can't just go into the comic store and buy one or two books a month). I read Rebirth and through the Sinestro Corps war, then I had to stop. What a shame. Sounds like I really need to get back into this. When does Blac...

Ah, been thinking about getting that one for a long time. Now I have a spare $20, and I might just have to pick it up, especially since you mentioned it's a good figure. I think I'll swing by the comic book shop tonight... So far, I would say the absolute best GL figure I have picked up so far is t...

FIRST OFF, LUV THE SIG. I GIVE IT A 20 OUT OF 10. I have re-read that ish 39 every night since last week. Indeed it rocks, but I was really hoping for a little more spotlight on Sinestro- last we saw him, he was off to Korugar to take care of a "family matter"...I definitely want to see th...

Hal and Sinestro rock. Protip: That's not a Rubber Ducky. Thanks. And yeah, I know it is one of SC's interests. It's not a slap to him or anything; just an opinion on the current sig. But the beauty of signatures is that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks- as long as it rocks your own world,...

Civ, I wanna take another shot at your sig at some point- I'm not personally satisfied with it because it is hard to read Trailbreaker's dialogue. I'll use the same pics, it just looks so....grainy and I'm not the best at photoshop (or rip off versions of it). F_P: kooky picture. I like it. Slayer F...
