All of Twilight's Last Gleaming is in that second pocket-sized digest.

Sadly volume 3 seemed to vanish.

Well done to Burnley. Yes they were battered right and left and centre all night but got a good scalp for their first home win.

Ah Maid Marian, I loved that show. I watched Press Gang, but in my youth I had something of a hatred towards a lot of kids tv that wasn't cartoons. Funnily enough, when we lived in Germany we only had the 1 english station which was a curious mish-mash of BBC1, 2 and ITV and C4 when it did launch. I...

I didn't pick up any toys this time, but inspired by the recent Hubris thread (and I do still plan to pick that up when I next have some cash. About 2050) I did get a couple of fan books, including the T-25 one our own Andy Turnbull worked on. In fact I think I managed to baffle the guy on the desk...

Next of Kin Sunday Session

Simon has asked that I pass on the word that Next of Kin will play a third set on Sunday morning at Auto Assembly. So if anyone is swithering please pop along. They played a kick-ass set tonight of tunes from TFTM and covers and it went down a treat.

Cheers

No Globequake is the book to read first.

Globequake - Following Earth - The Barricade is the order you want to approach them in.

They can be read as stand-alone books although there are some continuing story-threads throughout and links between them.

I'd certainly echo Cliffy's sentiments on Globequake, a fantastic tale. The Barricade is a favourite as well seeing as how it's Brave Maximus involved.

I loved the printed fanzine.

Ebooks, pdfs and the like are all well and good but the printed version just feels better.

Last I spoke to Graham I don't think he's going to be making it to AA this year, althought that could change.

BLATANT PLUG ALERT! Although there will be the T-25 fanzine available at the TMUK table at AA.

Hubris Fanzine #10 (NEW Stephen Baskerville art)

My good mate and he who runs the Hub (Graham Thomson) has asked if I wouldn't mind mentioning here the 10th issue of his quite snazzy fanzine Hubris. Now admittedly as a friend I am biased but the production values are pretty high. US comic sized and glossy paper with a nice mix of prose, comic stri...

Well I imagine he's hoping to get something useful out of the Eclipse stuff he acquired and tbh Miracle/Marvelman is about the only thing there that could earn money.

But yeah, he really should just let it go.

Thanks very much.

Martin did Ironhide and I did Ratchet. Both of us have a liking for the toy designs and thought it would make for for a more distinct and varied picture if different approaches were used as opposed to the more familiar animation/comic versions of them.

It looks like they've been saved, well for at least a year. The problem is that Scottish clubs go running to random investors of dubious quality who almost inevitably go tits up, Nicolas Anelka's brother nearly took Raith Rovers under when he ran the show. Look at Hearts and Vladimir Romanov. Hearts...
