Re: Doctor Who Series 12 Thread
I'm very much enjoying it so far, maybe not top tier Who, but perfectly nice and watchable. Just feel a bit sad it's not...well, not doing badly when the final IPlayer viewers are taken into account (though the bump isn't as big as it used to be), but people are actively avoiding watching it on the ...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Got a Siege Hound.
Spent a long time trying to work out how the arms cleverly folded away into the underside of the vehicle mode before realising they just sort of hang there.
But really quite a lot of fun regardless.

Re: Dalek and Warcry's Endless Star Trek Thread
OMG lads, Picard was so bloody good. The bit with B4 having been stuck in a draw after Nemesis and Picard never having thought of him since was unintentionally hilarious, but the fact it seems to be setting up a Bruce Maddox was behind it all thing is pleasingly nuts. I'm assuming he'll be the unsee...

Got the Animated Star Trek on blu ray for Christmas and have been working through it. It's got a Gorn that 5000% more convincing than the one in Enterprise.

Re: Book Me, Dano.
Just finished my first reread of the Hitch-hikers books in a decade (I know because there was still a receipt from 2009 in there). Still love the first three and the fourth is trying something different at least. But boy is Mostly Harmless one of the most depressing and cynical books I've ever read....

Pity they didn't work it so as to at least include the other two Fuman issues.
Agreed about the quality, sadly no one cares about Armada enough.

Re: The Transformers Partwork Discussion Thread.
Apparently the first G2 book will be issue 81 (and as 82 is going to be Revolutions, presumably it'll still be in a random order), with it split across three volumes and the first having the Joe crossover.

Well, Liverpool did indeed get Welker and Cullen.
TFN on the other hand have Cullen, and I think it's a good bet that, if not this year, Welker is likely for 2021...

Re: TF Nation 2019
Not TFN as such, but Liverpool Comic Con is announcing two Transformers guests this Sunday, who are UK firsts and (from what they say) an amazing duo to get together.
My best friend is convinced it's going to be Welker and Cullen. We shall see...

Not technically TV, but also been introduced to the Buzzfeed Unsolved YouTube channel. Which is my favourite sort of trash viewing in that the ghost hunting is ridiculous and OTT and not even remotely convincing but at the same time it's great fun and there's some interesting real history in there.

Late to the party, but watched the first two and a bit (before Netflix started struggling with my Wi-Fi) episodes of Hannibal and now I want to dress like Hannibal. How does he find the time to kill and eat people and buy such snazzy suits?
