Re: Anyone else thoroughly enjoying the Twitter dumpster fire?
Bets on whether he gets slapped down by anyone re: the platform suicide plan to charge all users? Sades, if you're not already sorted by the time I start getting invite codes, someone kindly got me onto Bluesky yesterday. First impressions are surprise there's no MFA even if it'd be emailing one-ti...

Heya Jets!
Never been to a tf nation, was well out of the fandom by the time it rolled around, but have heard many good things from those who have.
There's still a few faces around you'll recognise from time to time.
Hope you've been keeping well mate.

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
I'm wondering if people being OK with prevention measures being lifted is less "covid is over" and more "covid is inevitable". For the first chunk of the pandemic, your choices were: * go out, get covid, possibly die * stay home as much as possible until the vaccines are ready a...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Well, it's taken 2 years but I finally caught covid. Zero idea how/where. I mask up everywhere I go and they're mandatory at work too. Just had a day of exceptionally bad flu symptoms and now feel 95% normal. Clearly the vaccine has worked, would hate to think how bad it would have been had there no...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Covid is a viral disease like all others. It is so dangerous now because there is not a stable cure for it. Patients behave differently to it, and thus, doctors don't know if what works for some will also work for others. However, I can tell you it is a big deal. Both my mother and I had Covid. Whi...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Mastermind Creations Medicus arrived yesterday and I'm 100% sold on an all in one combiner for defensor. It doesn't sacrifice any poseability to incorporate the gimmick, in fact it out classes some of its peers in that regarding. It's show accurate in both modes as much as it can be and some hoe man...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Recently picked up Deformation Space's take on Thundercracker and Fans toys Robot Paradise's Soundwave I was unsure about Acoustic Wave right up to the point of having it in hand, then it really shone on display compared to mp13. Painted the inside of the cassette deck window for a bit of cartoon ap...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Good luck! My MP Rodimus fell victim to the exploding shoulders years ago now and will spend the rest of his time in the spare parts bin. :( That was something that always made me super wary about picking one up now, however many years later. It arrived today and I'm happy to say it seems pretty so...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Finally picked up MP09 from eBay. Lead to believe it's the "China" version or 3rd release so hopefully won't fall foul of any brittle shoulders, knees or ankles or at least make it through one transformation into Space Winnebago mode where he shall spend the rest of his time. It's been ano...

Amongst far too many other to list (cos who wants to just read endless lists of things?!) comes this magnificent bastard toy!
Cang Toys Firmament (not Divebomb) wing span is nuckin' futs on this thing! Roughly 65cm at full stretch.

Re: Need some advice on a MP style Megatron
The mp36 KO is generally well regarded but like any KO, you roll the dice and take your shots. For a slightly cheaper alternative THF is highly regarded, more a remould than a KO, people seem to prefer the colouring. Unfortunately like a lot of these things, the price is inflated due to the scarcity...

Cang Toys Land Bull (aka MP Tantrum)
He's a big bulky boy that becomes a bulky bull and then a big bulky shin. Fairly certain I could kill a man with it.

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!
This is a super interesting topic that I didn't even realize was a thing! I wonder if this has anything to do with why (as you say below) you don't feel a need to transform your figures very much. For me, it's actually the opposite...I'm almost compelled to transform a figure when I pick it up for ...
