I read on the TFW2005 forums somewhere that it was only going to be 81 to 100 which might mean that a G1 to G2 bridge could be neatly worked in as the story. That's if it is true. Which it might not be as I'm too lazy to look for that thread and check.

I wonder how Shockwave moves his big worm thing about? It getting to America near the end is neatly explained by that being after they switch on the space bridge so he could have hopped a lift on that, but previously did it have to dig miles under the Earth? Or was he and it stuck in Eastern Europe...

That's what I loved about it! Oh don't get me wrong, I loved that too :D While thats true, I think it handled it better than most other films by having the fight back be both believable and winnable. The movie was batsh*t crazy, pardon the language. Even though I asterixed it. But seriously. Totally insane - it mangled continuity even more than RotF did, Carly was a non-event (IMO), Laserbeak as pink girly Bumblebee was WTF? inducing... although I actually liked Laserbeak, especially his constan...

The railgun was a human enginered secret weapon in G2 as well - it was designed by Dr Biggles-Jones, after all.

Dark Knight gets props IMO simply because it is at least better than Batman Begins, which was also overrated and incredibly terrible.
