According to Christ McFeely on Twitter the Blu Ray is missing some dialogue, most noticeably the "Is your daddy home?" bit from Laserbeak, though oddly this is on the DVD included in the same triple play box. Can anyone confirm this? T'would appear that it's not so much MISSING as an audi...

Standard, G1-brand drinkin'-Energon, like wot they kept in cubes, started out as being an iridescent rainbow colour for most of season 1, until it settled into the pinkish-purple that it's been pretty consistently portrayed as since. Presumably, though, it was purple because at the time, it was a De...

You are highly encouraged to get as many Titan ones as you can - because Titan could reprint the stories featuring Marvel characters like Circuit Breaker and Death's Head, while IDW can't. IDW seem to have at least got permission to use Circuit Breaker in their later collections, but for two full bo...

There's been a heck of a lot of shit anime subbed by the millions of fansub groups that are out there over the years, you'd think SOMEONE could have managed it by now after a decade plus.

The series haven't been released with subs officially (indeed, in Japan, neither one has even been released on DVD, just VHS), and no fansub group has ever successfully completed the series. An old group named... Centosaur...? something like that... managed the first 12 BWII eps and the movie years ...

I don't think... ANY fiction has actually touched upon the themes you suggest the movie could have wrung from the combiner concept. They're in the combiners' BIOS, but... yeah, I'm genuinely having trouble bringing to mind a comic or cartoon episode that actually used them in practise, except maybe ...

I think the one with Dirt Boss might be the most insignificant, but I'm guessing it wouldn't have been had the show run another season or two. Either that, or "Sari, No-One's Home". But still, things happen in both those episodes that set up the events of future eps, so you can't just los...

And even then, I don't think there's a single episode that you can actually drop from the series without leaving some kind of plot gap, large or small.

I think "Thrill of the Hunt" is probably the yardstick. If you don't enjoy it, there's no helping you. :)

I have listened to the odd Moonbase 2 podcast and post AA plan to make a regular thing of it (and again, length doesn't matter, the podcast with the Allspark Almanac interview in it was three hours long!), because it's hosted by people who seem to be enjoying themselves and know what they're talkin...

Huh. First TF podcast I listened to - within the last year - and liked the fact that it was fairly bite-sized on a regular basis (seriously, podcasts do not need to be multiple hours long). But I soured on it very, *very* quickly, because while it might have been something worthwhile in its early ye...

I don't have it, but I can tell you what the deal with it was - it's the variant of the Season 3 theme used on the unique opening sequence of "Five Faces of Darkness", featuring the additional sound effects that accompanied than animation.

Chris, he was literally bound into that "chair". He was wrapped in straps and hoses, bindings, and who knows what else. As for Defiance , yes, it is in the same continuity. The visual depiction of the sarcophagus may or my not be different, but that doens't change anything. That's just ar...

Except that the sarcophagus was not actually a literal, physical stone sarcophagus that the Fallen was trapped inside. He wasn't sitting inside a stone box - the thing was a flat plane not even remotely big enough to contain him. He was trapped outside of our dimension - we see shots from his perspe...

I don't even know why I'm doing this, but... Tramp. No. You can't superimpose the prequels onto the movie like that. There is nothing in the movie that suggests the Fallen is trapped in that chair. It is not his "sarcophagus". The whole sarcophagus thing didn't HAPPEN in the movie. In the ...

I'd think the major argument for the third bike not being Elita One would be that Elita One died in "Reign of Starscream".
