Synopsis: Aboard her shuttle, Tripredacus agent Flamewar reports in the Predacon Tripredacus Council regarding the events in the Ceti Alpha Seven System...

Previously the Autobots had sent in a team of six in order to destroy General Deathsaurus' Insecticon Clone Lab. Deathsaurus, as well as Insecticons Dirge and Buzzclaw, has successfully created a batch of Insecticon Clones modelled after the two. The four Autobots on the ground, led by Fallback and Chromia, travel across the swamp, thinking that it would be cakewalk. Dirge activates his powers, targetting pain receptors and disorienting the Autobots, forcing them to activate dampeners. The quartet are ambushed by the Clones, but easily tear them apart. However, Deathsaurus joins the battle and makes quick work of the Autobots, forcing them into surrender. On board the Autobot shuttle, the backup team of Ironhide and Ratchet observes this and head down to investigate. They find Fallback's fallen weapons, and continue to investigate. They destroy the Clones they come into contact with, and Ironhide uses his new 'Demolition Mode' to effect. Buzzclaw arrives, but Ironhide takes him out with his acid sprays.

Deathsaurus engages Ironhide in battle, and manages to destroy Deathsaurus' sword generator. However, Flamewar intervenes, sniping Ironhide's back, telling Deathsaurus that the Council is tired of watching him play. Deathsaurus is less than pleased with the Council butting in, and berates Flamewar for not respecting Megatron's memory by working with politicians instead of warriors. Flamewar, however, tells Deathsaurus that those like him would never understand the complexities of the Tripedacus Council and the Alliance, before departing, informing Deathsaurus that she took care of Ratchet as well. Ironhide and Ratchet wake up to find themself bound inside the lab, with Deathsaurus telling them from a video that the lab is rigged to explode. However, Ricochet pops out through an air duct, setting the two free. Fortunately, Ratchet had managed to gather the fallen Autobots before Flamewar took him out, so the Autobots make a hasty exit.

In the present, the Tripredacus Council is pleased by both Flamewar and Deathsaurus' work, but Flamewar's transmission is interrupted by Bumblebee, who informed Flamewar that when Ricochet disappeared from the battle, he was inserting a virus into the genetic matrix of the second batch of Virulent Clones. Bumblebee tells Flamewar that she has been compromised. The Tripredacus Council notes this as well, since Flamewar has exposed herself to the enemy... and with a touch of three buttons, they destroy Flamewar's ship.

The Tripredacus Council is pleased by the report, but the transmission is interrupted by a mirthful Bumblebee, who informs Flamewar that Ricochet planted a virus into the second batch of clones. Flamewar has given the Autobots a good chase, but now she's compromised. The Council tells her she has exposed herself to the enemy and is now a liability, and with a touch of a button, they destroy her ship.

Transformers Featured: Flamewar (killed), General Sea Clamp, General Cicadacon, General Ram Horn, Buzzclaw (killed), Deathsaurus, Dirge (not the Seeker), Virulent Clones (killed), Chromia, Ricochet, Fallback, Flareup, Ironhide, Ratchet, Bumblebee

Synopsis: A group of Predacons led by Megatron have stolen the Golden Disk, and ‘Unit 2’ (who would be known later as Tigatron) and ‘Unit 1’ are sent to intercept. However, as they approach the building Unit 1 is taken out by Dinobot’s optic lasers. Unit 1 urges Unit 2 to continue. Megatron, having secured the Golden Disk, orders Scorponok and Dinobot to retreat. Dinobot isn’t happy since it is dishonourable, but Megatron chokes Dinobot, telling him that honour is what led Maximals to die. The Predacons retreat. Meanwhile, in a hidden chamber deep underneath Cybertropolis, a mysterious figure – the Decepticon/Predacon Divebomb – contacts his agents, Laserbeak and Buzzsaw, telling them to ensure secretly that Megatron’s ship would reach his destination. Waspinator and Terrorsaur arrive with the newly-christened Darksyde, which picks the three other Predacons up. Unit 2 arrives too late as the Darksyde takes off, and commandeers a nearby vessel, the Chromia 10. The pilot (who would be later known as Airazor) asks Unit 2 to ‘persuade’ her, but the mention of pursuing Predacons convinces the gung-ho pilot to tell Unit 2 to get in.

Inside the Maximal Defense Command Center, three Maximal discuss the situation, and decides to send the Axalon, the fastest ship nearby with a Transwarp drive, after Megatron, despite their sensitive cargo of Protoform X. On the space station, Rattrap complains to Cheetor about delays, but Cheetor just tells Rattrap to be a team player. Rhinox appears and orders the two to quickly finish loading the crates. Optimus Primal, meanwhile, gets Protoform X into the Axalon. The Axalon launches soon afterwards, where Optimus Primal informs the crew that they would have to dump a certain sensitive cargo in the secluded Alpha Quadrant, something Rattrap isn’t happy about. The High Council contacts the Axalon with orders to pursue the Darksyde. However, unknown to them Laserbeak and Buzzsaw are hanging back, watching for pursuing Maximal crafts. They fire on the Axalon, and a firefight ensues.

The Axalon seems to be dead meat, but the Chromia 10 arrives and opens fire at Laserbeak and Buzzsaw’s ship. The Chromia 10 is totaled, but it gives the Axalon time to recover and obliterate the Decepticons’ ship, killing all inside. They perform a remote spark core transfer to rescue Unit 2 and the Pilot into some of the blank Protoforms the Axalon has ready. In the Darksyde, Tarantulas contacts a mysterious figure about data from the Golden Disk to a mysterious recipient, before telling Megatron of the coordinates he gleaned from said Golden Disk. Megatron discards his armour, just as Terrorsaur reports of the Axalon’s arrival. Dinobot argues about honour but Megatron hits him. Megatron contacts the Axalon, introducing himself as leader of the Predacons. Optimus Primal tries diplomacy, but Megatron replies by ordering Dinobot to fire on the Axalon. The Darksyde enters a Transwarp portal, and the Axalon follows suit, opening fire on each other.

A crew member of the Darksyde secretly transmits data from the Golden Disk to an unseen recipient. As the Axalon closes in, Megatron again flogs his honor-bound subordinate before greeting the Maximals with an array of ammunition. The Darksyde escapes into a transwarp portal, followed closely by the Axalon. To be continued!

Many years later, after Megatron's death, Divebomb and a rebuilt Razorclaw have a conversation... and Razorclaw vows that the Predacons will defeat the Maximals.

Synopsis: Aboard the Autobot battle cruiser Graviton, Ultra Magnus’ crew arrives in Earth orbit. Ultra Magnus and Springer discuss Earth’s terrain, but Huffer refuses to set foot on the planet again, citing that he’s lost too many friends on Earth. Snarl recalls getting the information from Monzo, while Strongarm reports that Bug Bite’s ship is empty. The crew bar Huffer and Tyrannitron ready themselves to descend. On earth, Bug Bite and a crew of Decepticons have set up shop. Dreadwind laments about leaving Darkwing behind, being stuck with Bug Bite, and everything in general. Thrust reports to Bug Bite that a group of Decepticons from Megatron’s crew are about to arrive. Elsewhere, in the Autobase, Optimus Prime and his crew arrive with the damaged Rodimus, having retreated from a Decepticon attack which had included Devastator. Optimus tells Bumblebee that Cliffjumper had disappeared. Inside the base, Springer contacts Grimlock, telling the Dinobot that they had tracked a group of Bludgeon’s Decepticons led by Bug Bite to Earth. Grimlock flies off to meet them. Mirage turns invisible and follows.

Starscream, Ramjet and Skywarp, still in a sorry state after their recent battle, arrive to confront Bug Bite and company. Thundercracker is happy to see Skywarp (but not vice versa), and Dirge is unhappy to see Starscream. Starscream and Bug Bite discuss a proposal that Bug Bite would work with Megatron. Mirage, still invisible, had lost Grimlock but stumbled upon the Decepticons instead. Weirdwolf and Dreadwind catch hints of Mirage nearby, and manage to flush him out. Starscream gets ready to kill Mirage, but Bug Bite blasts Starscream, Skywarp and Ramjet with modified cerebro-shells. Bug Bite monologues how he had been controlling the minds of the Decepticons. Starscream can still think for himself but can’t have any control over what he does. Ultra Magnus’ crew, as well as Grimlock, watches in displeasure. Springer mentions that they have a jammer against cerebro-shells developed by Perceptor. Megatron consults with Shockwave (now reduced to a head) about Bug Bite, asking his opinion. However, all Shockwave knows about Bug Bite is rudimentary information.

Swoop and Elita-One track the Decepticons to the Ark’s crash site. Elita-One engages Ravage in a battle, and takes him out with a light display and a punch after a brief scuffle. Bug Bite and his assembled Decepticons immediately open fire on Megatron and his troops with cerebro-shells. Megatron demands an explanation. Bug Bite monologues, telling Megatron that he came from a parallel universe, one of quadrillions that exist and that his universe is being destroyed by something that originated from this universe. He has come for revenge, planning to destroy all the Transformers and use their technology to fix his home dimension. However, Ultra Magnus’ crew had arrived into the base unseen. Megatron lashes out and chokes Bug Bite, but the Decepticon troops aim their weapons at Megatron. The Autobots jam the cerebro-shells using Perceptor’s device, and Megatron’s loyalists and those loyal to Bludgeon trade fire, and the Autobots enter the room, firing. The Autobots save Mirage, while in the ensuing chaos Bug Bite tries to reach for the dead Dirge’s weapon, but Megatron blows Bug Bite’s head off. Springer and Magnus blow the Decepticons’ computers apart, and Megatron swears vengeance. Grimlock joins Ultra Magnus’ crew as they head into space to hunt Bludgeon down.

Synopsis: After undisclosed crazy events, Cliffjumper emerges from a dimensional portal to find himself on Cybertron. He runs onto a strangely coloured Ruckus, who is shot from the back by a similarly strangely coloured Rodimus. Rodimus mocks Cliffjumper for being careless, compliments his paint job, and then asks him how he survived the Darkmount Massacre where he disappeared. Cliffjumper comments on Rodimus’ new paintjob, and thinks that he was out for a long time. Rodimus takes Cliffjumper to see a delighted Optimus Prime. Optimus takes an increasingly nervous Cliffjumper through his trophy hallway, until they reach the smelting pool, where Rumble is about to be executed while Autobots watch. Cliffjumper demands to know what is going on, but Optimus thinks Cliffjumper wants to personally execute Rumble. Cliffjumper questions Optimus’ actions for murdering a Decepticon instead of going through the process and stuff, and opens fire on Cliffjumper. Optimus lets Cliffjumper live for being an old ally, and after asking the corpses hanging from the ceiling, Optimus dumps Cliffjumper in the Rad Zone as a punishment and test of loyalty. Cliffjumper is found by strangely-coloured Constructicons. After shutting down, Cliffjumper wakes up to see Hook and Scrapper working on him, and tries to escape, but collides with Megatron and Sideswipe. Cliffjumper demands to know what is going on, and Sideswipe asks to speak alone with Cliffjumper.

Sideswipe tells Cliffjumper that he is not the Cliffjumper he knew, despite the similarities, since Sideswipe saw ‘his’ Cliffjumper die in an ambush. Finding out that Cliffjumper’s ‘Ember’ is of reverse polarities from the norm, Sideswipe deduces that Cliffjumper is from another universe. Sideswipe then tells of the universe’s history: A long time ago, the librarian Optronix is unsatisfied with his lot and backstabbed his way to become one of the most influential members of society. Optimus began preaching intolerance for Cybertron’s peaceful state, and many others flocked to his cause. Calling themselves Autobots, they upgraded themselves with weaponry. Calling himself Optimus Prime, the Autobots attacked and began their reign of terror. Eventually, Optimus Prime’s sanity disappeared into madness due to an undisclosed event. However, Cybertronians that escaped the massacre formed a resistance, and a leader, Megatron, emerged to unite the resistance. With Megatron’s leadership, the resistance developed the ability of transformation and called themselves Decepticons. However, the Autobots quickly managed to replicate the process for themselves. Because of that, morale has been low among the Decepticons. Cliffjumper struggles to take it all in but keeps an open mind considering the things he’s been through recently. Cliffjumper demands to know why Sideswipe is on the Decepticons’ side. Sideswipe tells Cliffjumper that he used to be an Autobot, but he began losing faith in the cause and finally at one point left for dead after a staged ambush, and joined the Decepticons for revenge. Cliffjumper isn’t convinced, but decides to stick around.

In Iacon, Optimus spars with holographic enemies as Blurr gives him a status report. Apparently Optimus has been focusing all effort on building the Ark, and is unconcerned about the disposable launching platform. Goldbug brings up the Old One, but is quickly shushed by Optimus. In the war room at Polyhex, Starscream reports that a direct attack will be suicide. Sideswipe and Cliffjumper enter the room and Megatron tells Cliffjumper that the Autobots have built a ship called the Ark to conquer other worlds. After a failed attempt to tell them about the creation mythos, Starscream concludes that they should attack the platform and create a chain reaction that will destroy the Ark as well. Starscream plans to use Cliffjumper’s glass gas to weaken the platform, and Cliffjumper agrees to lending his gas.

At sundown, Razorclaw and Rampage kill the guards guarding the Energon tanks, allowing Starscream, Divebomb and Whisper to drop the glass gas bombs, before opening fire on the platform. However the explosion fails to destroy the platform. Megatron leads his troops in, but Optimus Prime sends all his troops to attack. A full out battle escalates, and Cliffjumper is stunned by actually having to fight people that are usually his allies. Optimus Prime attempts to destroy the ‘traitor’, but Megatron takes the blast for Cliffjumper. Megatron asks Cliffjumper to leave because it’s not his fight, and Cliffjumper is convinced into action. Using his jetpack, he flies towards the platform and uses all the glass gas to destroy the platform, rupture the Energon tanks and crippling the Ark. Megatron orders a retreat, and shoots a ranting Optimus Prime as a parting gift. Cliffjumper agrees to join the resistance.

Synopsis: Kup, Hot Rod and the Dinobots’ shuttle are attacked by Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps. Hot Rod tries to lose their attackers by flying into a nebula. Kup says that this reminds him of a battle, causing the Dinobots to beg Kup to tell it. As they catch their breath inside the nebula, Hot Rod insists that they repair the ship. Grimlock intimidates Hot Rod into agreeing with them. Kup tells a story… Back before the Great War, a fresh-from-the-assembly Kup is a recruit aboard the Autobot Guard transport Eight Track, led by Thunderclash. The crew has just finished a recon mission. They receive a transmission from Magnum of the High Command. Magnum informs them that the Decepticons are now a real army with a new leader. War is brewing, and the cargo ship Van De Graaf has been attacked. The team, the only ones close enough, is sent to find the mysterious cargo inside the ship, and to return it safely. As soon as they arrive on Beta-Nine, however, their ship is shot down by a Decepticon cruiser. Landshark manages to crash-land the ship, and despite Landshark’s optimism, Thunderclash orders them to forge forward. However, en route they are attacked by a trio of Decepticon Skyraiders. Kup was blown off the ridge, while the other Autobots are pinned down, forced to retreat into a nearby forest. Kup is ambushed by Banzai-Tron, Gaihawk and Hellbat, but managed to survive by pure dumb luck (despite what he tells the Dinobots in the present day). However, Kup is cornered and is hypnotized into a trance by Hellbat. Before the Decepticons could kill him, though, Hellbat is eaten by a giant lake monster. Taking advantage of the distraction, Kup escapes.

The other Decepticons try to track down the other Autobots. Trying to buy his teammates time to get to the cargo, Thunderclash breaks cover and baits Skyquake to pursue him. Landshark contacts Kup, who has already arrived at the Van De Graaff. He finds some dead Autobots, and retrieves the mysterious cargo, brushing away some dead tentacles above it. In the forest, Flak taunts Leozack and Hooligan into attacking him, allowing Landshark to get the jump on the two Decepticons and take them out. In the crashsite, Banzai-Tron and Gaihawk have caught up, and so do Thunderclash and Skyquake. Already wounded, Thunderclash and Kup are cornered, but Kup gets an idea. Banzai-Tron demands them give the cargo. Kup pretends to go with Banzai-Tron’s order, and Banzai-Tron takes the object from Kup despite Skyquake’s warnings. Banzai-Tron opens the cylinder, to find a gun set to overload, knocking out the Decepticons. Kup’s story is interrupted as the Sweeps find them. However, as they board the ship, they find a group of very angry Dinobots who had their story interrupted. Battle erupts, and the Sweeps are destroyed. Scourge tries to escape and is confronted by Kup. Kup’s gun jams, and he lobs it at Scourge. Scourge mocks Kup for being so antique… only to find that the gun is set to overload, taking Scourge down with it. With the Decepticons dealt with, Grimlock asks Kup to continue the story…

Eventually a recovery team extracts the Autobots from Beta-Nine, and they are congratulated by Magnum for a job well done. While in the near future the Autobot Guard would be torn apart by the war, here Magnum awards Thunderclash’s squad the special honour of being the Elite Guard. Kup never did find out what the case is. However, the contents within were given to a bearded, purple transformer, who is working on the Autobot who would later be known as Optimus Prime.
