Intelligence Report on the CES Fearless
Classified Top Secret: Codeword Indigo
1.1 Executive Summary
a) Analysis of Imperial Naval Forces from evidence found on the CES Fearless
The CES Fearless is a Ruthless Class Imperial Battleship. It is impossible to tell how many of this class are in existence, however a Builders plate indicates she is No. 27. There is insufficient evidence to indicate if she was No. 27 built by that particular yard or 27th in the class. A Intelligence analysis of the class indicates that the Empire could indeed support that number of ships of this type. A partial de-coding of the ships log reveals vessels in existence called Formidable, Irresistible, Implacable, Courageous, Furious, Glorious, Invincible, Inflexible and Implacable. There pennant numbers indicate that they are Battleships, however it is impossible to tell if they are all of the same class.
It is hoped to cannibalise some of the damaged craft to and bring more back into service. Trials will be held against our own organic craft to decide if it is worth setting up a production line. Research and Development have so far identified several improvements that can be integrated into our own fighters on the production line. It is recommended that the improvements are retrofitted to our own craft as part of their normal repair cycle.

Note 2
40 inch as a calibre has not been used in the Decepticon Space forces for a considerable time, and such there is a lack of replacement ammunition once the ships on-board supply has been exhausted. The Gremlin may be able to manufacture the parts required.
Although the ship is highly automated and can be fought by a relatively small crew, it is recommended that the ships AI be isolated and crew trained up to operate systems on manual until the software can be analysed for bugs and back doors and the ships AI re-educated.
The ship was captured in the Haven System while ferrying the payroll for an Imperial Sub-Quadrant. It was orbiting Haven IV in the company of the Jinx Class Fleet Auxiliary CES Gremlin, the Gem Class light patrol cruiser CES Topaz and the Weapon Class Destroyers CES Rapier and Battleaxe. The Fearless and Topaz had been involved in a collision and were under repair. The Topaz had sustained significant damage in the collision and subsequent inspection of the wreck was found to be a write off. The Fearless had a large hole in her starboard bow plating from the collision as well as damage to her forward starboard secondary mount. Trypticon attacked the auxiliary, knocking out the drive coupling, then attacked the destroyers luring them away while a boarding party lead by Gigatron penetrated the Fearless through the hull breech. There was severe compartment by compartment fighting and the interior of the ship was damaged. (see schedule 2 for details) The ship was captured after intense fighting. Trypticon knocked out the 2 destroyers and engaged the Fearless while the Boarding Party stormed the bridge. —-
