Could Galvatron's meta processor be repaired or replaced to cure his madness ?

In webworld it was not tried to fix it with new parts so does that mean it could not be fixed and could his mind be put into anew one?
In Starscream's Brigade and Autobot Spike it showed that mind's can be transferred so could his mind be put into a new meta processor and would it work in his body or would he need a new one?
