When will likely find out about what the latest Transformers publisher is?

Hasbro has to make a definite decision first, although has probably decided. They've
expressed a desire to have Earthspark comics, which it's unlikely will make for huge sales so that's a part of the business-as-usual deal any publisher will have to accept.
Image/Skybound, Boom! etc are large and stable enough to not fail embarrassingly, if they want it. Skybound has reportedly expressed an interest so I'd assume something will be announced this year involving them unless there's competition.

Bigger conventions tend to be summer or fall. But a press release earlier isn't out of the question. Might see some issues before the end of the calendar year either way.
