Which of Your Transformers can pull off the best "Naruto Run"?

Post by Sades »

This semi-cursed topic stems from a random Discord conversation we were having.

Lemme see your best "Naruto run" poses done with your toys. I'll post mine a bit later, I'm procrastinating hard and need to get back to doing stuff

Earthrise/Kingdom Prime can do it with a display stand:

And this... was my attempt. (my desk is garbo, yes but it's tiny and fits in this corner, so)

You at least need the pacifier bot.

I tried to take a complete photo recently, with SS holding his Legends counterpart in one hand. However, that made him too forward-heavy, and he started falling over. I caught him, but in doing so, dropped and broke my camera. I think m other, even older camera still works. If I can find it.

Yes I do.

Do you still use a dedicated camera, or do you have a smart phone? I haven't used a stand-alone digital camera since getting the latter because the picture quality for what I need (taking pictures of cats and robots) is more than enough. I know smart phones will never replace proper cameras for professional photography, but for most of us they seem to do the job just fine. Plus they're made with some amount of user clumsiness in mind, which definitely helps in my case.

I use a dedicated camera. My parents gave me a couple of their old track phones. I don't think there's any minutes left on them to use as phones, but they can use my wifi. I just hate using them. I don't like touchscreens in general, and these are awkwardly tiny. I could take pictures with them, but then I'd have to either get the pictures off them onto a computer, or post directly from the phone. I think I sent one e-mail using that stupid little touchscreen keyboard, just letting my parents know that I was using the phone. I want to not use that thing again more than I want to post pictures.

There's also a lollipop Botbot that Brunt can hold.

Back to Naruto running. Wasn't there a much-maligned Armada Sideswipe that had stupidly large forearm kibble and a tiny torso? Maybe that weight distribution would provide good balance for Naruto running.

Smart phone hardware, anyway (no SIMs / no SIM hardware). Got a tripod and some older digital cameras I keep meaning to look at tethered options for and I suppose I've got space to set up a light box now. But it's difficult to be arsed when you can just reach over to something that fits in your hand and takes good enough pictures to to make a point. Even a feature phone is good enough for quick notes and accident recording etc.

At some point I realized that the dedicated camera I spent good money on took worse pictures than the decade old iPhone we had rattling around in a drawer...

I don't know much about Naruto but I'm pretty sure this is cheating!
