^ Of those, am getting Lord Scorpion and could maybe go for another FP dino. Some nice other pieces but mainly into large scales. If they do a two pack of guardian robot + the other one from the show I'd get, and if for some reason there's a bronze Grinder with a nose horn could be persuaded.

Cool slide deck, going to take a while to get through.

edit:

Liking the stylised Hannibal Kup, could go for as a standalone --

Lots of interesting stuff in general. From the Brendspective:

FT's Phoenix is probably a yes if it ever comes out. Grinder, similarly. I've only got the comic colour version of MP Grimlock, so would like something in a similar palette to the other FT Dinobots, with a similar standard of articulation.

Despotron doesn't really look like a step up from Apollyon based on the concept art, though I'm sure the quality and durability will be an improvement.

I'd need to see prototype pictures of Maketoy's Apeface, but their Chromedome and Hardhead set a solid precedent and it's good to see that the range looks set to continue, despite the introduction of the whole Cross-Dimension diversification.

Not sure about FT's Weirdwolf. Their engineering seems to work best on the larger scale item, and based on Hound, Perceptor and the Insecticons, FT's slavish desire to stick to the stock animation models tends to strip away a bit of the life and character from them.

Not entirely convinced by the Ocular Max Trailbreaker based on the initial pictures, though I'm open to having my mind changed. But I seem to recall rumours that Takara are working on Trailbreaker/Hoist, along with MP Jazz, so we'll just have to wait and see on that regard.

Ocular Max Remix Laserbeak looks to be a goer, though, even if the feet seem a bit large on initial reaction.

This may have been mentioned as I have trouble keeping track of the 3P faux names, but MTMTE style Rodimus as well:

Preorders for Phoenix and Lupus [FT Skyfire and Weirdwolf] up at TFSexpress.

155 ish and 97ish pounds per copy.

I actually expected a lot more for Skyfire. Might give it a go, but with a release date of April 2017 [in FT language, November 2017] I just refuse to pay that in advance.

That MMC Rodimus is based on an earlier concept for Tarn, believe it or not.

And he looks amazing.

The sad thing is that with all these reveals, my interest for official stuff has dropped to zero beyond Inferno and the two beast MPs.

Def going to get most of MMC's IDW offerings here. Whirl, Tarn, (eventual) Rodimus, Death's Head, Roadbuster, maybe even the Lockdown.

I mean, I might have to sell my house, but it's all good.

Lots of 3P Megatron styled robots around at the moment...

And my personal fave (although not likely to displace Apollyon unless QC is great)... Bold Forms Gladius;

And after being quiet for a while and not announcing anything at TFCon, Badcube have broken cover on their versions of Trailbreaker and Hoist...

That MMC MTMTE Rodimus looks amazing - I look forward to seeing the alt mode. That's quite unexpected, and a figure I'm very interested in!

MMC Helex is also shaping up nicely.

And I'm really liking the look of BoldForms' Megatron, which turns in to a gun and a tank. I'm always torn between the two (gun for G1 nostalgia and tank because it makes a lot more sense!). Looks like that could render the issue irrelevant!

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

Badcube Trailbreaker and Hoist PO's are up.

MMC Trailbreaker PO's also up. Trailbreaker will come with MMC Sphinx toy head [think Liger head in blue], Hoist will come with MMC Sphinx A toy head [light blue].

MMC Grapple PO's also up.

September is shaping out to be a very expensive month. There's also a second 3rd party Optimal Optimus toy coming out here.

MT Despotron is looking lovely, and DX9's option came out of the blue.

Nicely done. Was hinted at when Wardog was released IIRC.

It's just a flesh wound.

SRSLY though, I'm not sure if I'll be going for these or not. Badcube's Hoist gets the edge over MMC's for nailing the adjustable stance that differentiates the animation model from Trailbreaker's... but I'm not sold on the chest from either company.

And after all the 3P companies announced their Infernos right before TT, I'd think that might be what's happening here. PLUS with Ironhide and Ratchet already available, Inferno imminent and Grapple a certainty, I'd be stunned if Takara haven't got these two lined up already as they cement the "larger Autobot vehicle" MP size point.

Also worth noting that with Dirge unveiled we're running out of larger scale pre-movie Decepticons, and there are a lot of 3P Blitzwings either just released or on the horizon...

Despotron up for preorder at Kapow

More expensive than the DX9 offering. Looks like the majority of the main torso is a block of die-cast.

Colour me intrigued. I really, really, really like the quality of Trashtalk and Cogwheel that I have so if there's no Takara announcement by that point, this one will be my Megatron.

I see preorders are up for Garatron G.O.D-01 Thunderstorm (Stormbringer Thunderwing) at Robotkingdom. $159.99 and due in October.

Really looking forward to this guy but will wait and see what prices are like from UK retailers.

Not so keen on him just yet, although he looks good. The legs do not appear to lock and hold together very well on these pics.

It doesn't help that MMC have already shown renders of theirs and I am a big fan of their designs

Oh hey look FansToys have announced a Trailbreaker too...
http://tfsource.com/fanstoys/ft-25-outrider/

Speaks volumes that there's three of these announced so far and none of them have managed to get the chest to not look awkward.
