Spotlight: Hardhead (Revelations #2) Info Thread | Update: Coloured Preview Pages

Post by zigzagger »

Denton Tipton (IDW editor) has updated his blog with some lovely line art from Spotlight: Hardhead/ Revelations #2. Roche's work looks to be in great form, yes?

And that's a classic Nightbeat, that is. The way he should look, not like Cybertron Hot Shot's long lost twin.

Lovely sense of scale there. I thought this was marketed as being drawn by Musso. Weird that they're walking out in the open on what looks to be Gorlam Prime. Intrigue!

Really interested to see where this is all headed. I think the Dead Universe plot is a bit lame, personally, but I looooved the set-up to it in Spotlight: Nightbeat.

There was a pretty good dry run for that situation in The Ascending. It tested well!

Impressive. Really some top notch colouring and shading there. Well, at least we know that Revelations will be pretty.

Assuming they don't pass it over to an elephant with some watercolours halfway through, like they did with another issue recently that I won't mention...

What, the Beast Wars Sourcebook? (well, it's kind of recent-ish)

Wow, from those preview pics I think this guy is a really good colorist. Looking forward to these spotlights. To bad they didn't get him to do the Grimlock one.

Colours are indeed top notch. Haven't yet gotten the Grimlock spotlight but I'm hoping these are a cut above it (based on what's been said online about the Grimlock spotlight).
