A call could be fun if enough people were available at the same time, but honestly I spend half my work day on video calls so I don't know if I'd have the energy to show up for another one.

Eh, I think it'd be cool but coordinating all of it would be a pain in the butt. It's hard enough to get into Discord at the same time as other humans.

I'm pretty sure random posts of the "Is anyone still here?" type are more or less a death rattle for internet bulletin boards tbh.

Part of the issue for me is that TFs just aren't as much of a factor if my life as they used to be, so I have less to talk about here. Don't get me wrong, I still like the little buggers, and have not outgrown them at all. But, with the pandemic still going, I'm not going on toy runs as much as I used to, so I have less to talk about.

This may be a common occurrence. Some weeks, the remembering our old toys thread seems to see more action than Newest Acquisitions.

Another issue is I found a couple people I used to see in real life on Twitch, so I spend a decent amount of time on their streams. After that, I'm done internetting for the day. For anyone with time to kill:
infoXczar does card magic Tues evenings, Thurs afternoons, and Sat evenings.
LStTV does music remixing on Mon evenings and dating sims on Thurs evenings.
I don't watch anything on Wed, which is why I have time to type this now.

Similar, the comics have been steering into a cul-de-sac (had been even before IDW dumped their old continuity, really) plus busy with a variety of things and priorities. Collected more of the toys than I have previously, relatively speaking. But MOTU is getting more attention as Origins are fun to customise. Definitely becoming more passive with "internet" as Youtube fits with doing things around the house and spending time with the pets.

Will continue to endeavour to keep things patched/updated so that they're still here if people want to check in. Forums are considerably less shit as a means of comms than social media that only exists to sequence content as a means of selling ads.

I'm here. I'm also busy playing video games namely Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and the upcoming Life is Strange: True Colors on Xbox One and PS4.
I'm watching way too many YouTube videos.
I'm been writing reviews on various comics, movies, and TV shows, for another board.

I'm been waiting for Star Trek: Prodigy season 1 and Star Trek: Discovery season 4 to start so in the meantime I'll be watching What If... season 1 and the current Twilight Zone and maybe Claire (the new Silence of the Lambs spin-off TV show) and various other TV shows and movies.

Wait! I still function!

Fun fact: Capricorns age backwards, so every year I level up chronologically while getting psychologically younger. Anyone for snobs or chocks or WoW?

I'd play WoW! But I'd have to buy WoW, and right now that's not happening. Too many things that need to come before new vidya games atm.

I'm not really collecting TFs anyore. Haven't for years. I just like to shitpost. But shitposting here makes me sad now.

Yep, still mooching about. If IDW hadn't been daft and got rid of MTMTE/LL then I'd still be posting in the comics thread, those were really fun times; examining every little detail & trying to guess where the plot was heading. Still love looking back on them now but would like to get them in digital format and offload the paper ones.

Also, most of these modern 1st and 3rd party toys look incredible!
