Yeah, I'm used to the Ed Greenwood school of ye olde speech as well as having studied a bit of real stuff so as you say it's still great fun. They've done some clever stuff on the lyrics on Pumped Up Kicks (hadn't heard that before) -- having vocals is much more interesting than just synth.

This isn't a video recommendation, but more a general question.

So I watch a lot of YouTube over my PS4, and lately things are getting strange. Up until they decided to change the fact that watching YouTube on the PS4 was the best way to watch(yeah, ads at the beginning, but that's it), now ads are popping up a lot more. And while they are annoying, there's one thing that seems to be happening more often than not. It goes to commercial break, then the app hiccups and logs me out, making me have to close the app and open it again. Is anybody else having this problem?

To be honest, I've never had much success using the YouTube app on my PS4. Tends to run okay for a few minutes then buffer and I have to force quit the app too. I've taken to avoiding it at all costs. I mostly either use my TV's inbuilt youtube app or cast from my phone. Not much help, but sometimes it's good to know you're not the only one experiencing the problem!

I have an XBox One and Youtube seems to run just fine on that. I do have a PS3 also and Youtube runs fine there too.

System update? Restart your machine? Just in case you haven't tried the standard stuff already.

Would usually be all the stuff I recommend too but I think it's just that the ps4 YouTube app is utter garbage!

Seen over lunch -- specifically about an un-produced MASK submarine vehicle but it's a good round up of token female characters in 80s media;

ngl when I first saw this I thought it was a joke.

I WANT it to be good, but I'm very much afraid it won't be

... Helena is riding around on a parasaur and using a reg bow and arrow and she still managed to kill the dude in flak AND his raptor. Flak bob needs to learn to allot his points properly goddammit.

But at least they aren't PVPing in a Rex spawn like these chuckleheads-

The Fast and the Furious franchise is getting really out there.

I like this. I thought the concept was odd, the editing is a tiny bit cringe but the lady is very interesting.

Apparently if you make a London Fog in a Contigo cup, wash it, screw the lid on and store it in the cupboard for a day, it smells like hot dogs afterwards.

*pours hand sanitizer in cup* (no not really. Maybe a little.)

Enjoy this video of a cute deer playing the futbol.

This ad is genius.

I’m so restless. :/ Here!

ELLA ELLA ELLA

This (the original song anyway) takes me right back to 2008… and, uh, working in a store that sold “toys” and adult novelties. IT WASN’T AS BAD AS IT SOUNDS I SWEAR.

It was one of those classy shops ladies and drag queens like, not one of those seedy shops sketchy people like. Though answering the phone in a place like that was still a bit of a minefield…

Sunday was my favourite day because no one came in and I could read books.

ANYWAY.

More PMJ ftw

AND THIS. Guys, her VOICE.

And if anyone's ever wondered what it was like growing up in midwestern Canada in the 90's musically, this playlist is probably it.

(listening to the entire thing today, natch. Legit country classics, all of 'em)

EDIT: NOPE, couldn't finish that playlist without skipping, lmao. "sHe tHiNkS mUh TrAcKtOr'S sExAaAaYyYyyY"

OHSHIT tomorrow is my kid's first full day of school, literally her first time away from me for a full day since March 2020. Which is not going to be easy. For me. For obvious reasons.

But I'm building a playlist to listen to, probably to try and convince myself there's something good about it.

Forgive the random string of conciousness crap! I youtube, I find, I post, I listen to later maybe, ignore it. Or not. Or add to it, that's always awesome.

Save me from 90's country song hell?

(pretty pretty)

Pam Tillis:

I know this makes me uncool but I loved Pam Tillis as a kid. Michelle Wright, too! Now that I think on it I have to dig up some Michelle Wright.

omg I regret this, it's so CRINGE CHEESE. But I love it.

TAKE IT LIKE A MAAAAAAN lmao oh god I see wheat fields and haybales.

Feel sorry for my neighbours, I sung this vvv while loading the dishwasher today:

There was a meme about this ^^^ Shania song going around recently, I can't remember it right now though.

THE TWANG

youtube's just legit feeding me this shit now.

lololololol

Speaking of spilled perfume, I used to think she looked like she smelled good.

Not "Oh, she's so pretty"... "Oh, she LOOKS LIKE SHE SMELLS GOOD." Fucking psycho.

Oh no Youtube, what have you done? I don't want to be here for another hour.
Okay enough of that crap.

Oh Youtube, you've done it now!

Yessss, thank you:

Andfinally:

Roxette. Happy! I love Roxette! There.
