I can see my house from here! Yay for me!

To make this a bit more interactive: Got house?

Congratulations. I've moved into my current house for nearly 2 years. The long winter snow shoveling didn't bother me much but the short summer yard work killed me.

Go you!

I do not have a house. I want one, though. All in good time.

Btw, there's a trash can about 50 metres from your front door that's perfect for me to hide behind with binoculars. Thanks for the link! :p

Cheers for the heads up; explosives are in place, Sades. ;)
And cheers for the feedback, all.

New house is scary indeed. All kinds of new crap I have to take care off (gas, water, electricity, insurances, taxes, etc.) while also trying to select furniture and wallpaper and floors... It should come with a manual. -_-

Congratulations! It looks very nice (though I have to say, while the addresses look like what I'd expect, the roof shingles look more like what I'd associate with the American southwest or Mexico). Don't stress too much about the furniture and such; most things will look fine together unless there's a lot of stripes and such on them; unless it's one type of pattern, simple solids of one or varied colors are a good way to go.

Here's ours: http://maps.google.com/maps/place?ftid= ... NYE&dtab=5
(Pics a little old, so van, and trash cans, aren't ours.)

Yay, home owning! Yes, there are extra hassles involved. But so far, imho, I'd say it's worth it.
