Video Appears in Printed Magazines

The video-in-print ads will appear in select copies of the US show business title Entertainment Weekly.

The slim-line screens - around the size of a mobile phone display - also have rechargeable batteries.

The chip technology used to store the video - described as similar to that used in singing greeting cards - is activated when the page is turned.

Each chip can hold up to 40 minutes of video.
I thought humans would be on Mars before this happens. Technological advancement seems to occur in a very strange order.
"Some people are like slinkies, not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs."

Movies I've seen recently:
Red
Johnny Got His Gun
A Clockwork Orange
Fight Club
Toy Story 3
Zombieland
Tenacious D The Pick of destiny
Watchmen

Well, maybe [because of all the extra revenue they're making by selling these fancy-pants new ads] they'll stop making ads that pop up right smack dab in the middle of what I'm reading when reading stuff online now.

Or not. :/

Yes. That indeed is what the article said.

Shame it's only in LA/NY. I'd quite like to look at one and see how it appears.
