Oddly, this appears to be an Asian-market only release by Takara... As in, not in Japan but in the other Asian countries that also get Hasbro toys.

Yes they are ! I work at my local TRU, and I put all these guys out last night. I picked up dirge when I got off work, and he pretty sweet. I didnt get the other 3 because they are nothing more then repaints, and well I am not a big fan of getting the same mold twice.

Consider yourself lucky. I work at the TRU here and it's like working in collector hell. Not that the people are bad, but the toys come so slowly and late to our store. The only advantage I have in getting toys is I can talk the stock crew into getting out the cases I want rather then the random ones they seem to grab when it's restocking time. <.< Other then that, we've been poooooooookey in getting the new stuff in. Like we JUST got Wave 4 of the Scouts, about a month or so behind the local Walmart (which is also slow in getting things in).

Damn that sucks bro. We usually get stuff in slow to, but when those came out, I was surprised. We usually get stuff a few months after hearing about it being released on the west coast, so when those where put on the shelf, I had to pick one up when I got off work that morning. Man, just keep talking to the stock crew and see if they will help you out, and just wait it out. When you get it, it is worth the wait.

Funny you should say that. I taught the stocking supervisor how to tell what wave is in a case and he's keeping an eye out for me for a few of the waves due out. He's a good guy, thankfully, and I work first thing in the mornings, usually while the stocking crew is there or just leaving depending on the time of year. So I can skate into work a little early and get it hot off the truck, as it where.

Yeah that is one of the things I love at my job. I actually stock and what not, so as soon as we get off the clock, I go right back and just pick up what I want. I cant wait for the new animated figures to come out. I also cant wait to get my hands on the new nest. figures. That new iron hide and bludgeon look sweet. I cant wait for those boxes to show up in the stores.

Confirming the Bludgeon/R. Ironhide spread, as well as NEST 'Bee and Dirge (and whoever else comes in that deluxe wave) all here in Las Vegas. Funny thing, Vegas tends to get things a week or so behind everyone else, so I'm a little surprised to find these guys around the same time as they've been reported out.

Bludgeon is cool, though his sword is bent not only at the hilt, but at the tip. Otherwise, a nice figure. Ironhide is pretty nifty with his new weapons. I love the remolded armored panels. Not keen on the brown and light gray plastic (spray paint time!) and I'm mixed on the new head. Definitely much more like the original Ironhide, but the old head has really grown on me. Also, the new head seems...smaller. Still a nice piece.
