I thought that toy wasn't released yet!

Anyway, Blitzwing looks awesome. Admittedly the tank mode is a tad small, but still kick-ass. Wish the Jet had more details on the top.

How's the articulation?

not crazy about the alt modes. Robot mode's pretty good. Of course I shall acquire it.

His articulation is Ok but his hips can't move. I'm not sure when the release date is but when I go the shop, I saw a bunch of Animated Deluxes & Voyagers So I pickup Blitzwing at Voyager price

I bought this figure in a sealed bubble plastic. Whether it is stolen/prototype, I do not know.

bubble plastic? definately doesn't sound like the final packaging of some other voyagers.

If it wasn't in the retail packaging I'd assume its not a retail release.

I kinda like the alts., though you do have to remember that the animated look will affect the realism factor.

I thought that his tank mode looks cute & compact but when I transform to jet mode, I wish that the tank tyres can be hidden. I have to admitt that his jet mode is the weakest among the three. I always thought that G1 Blitzwing had an awesome Tank & Jet mode but rather an ugly Robot mode.

Yeah, I think that the tank mode is actually much better than the jet mode because there at least is no evidence of it also being a jet in that mode. The jet mode on the other hand has the obvious tank treads on the bottom of it.

I'm still happy with the overall figure though. Love his robot mode.

That's Transformers Animated... you gotta take the bad with the good. What an excuse for having bad alternate modes... but I ain't complaining... too much.
