G1 reissue/KO Reflector

Post by Ackula »

Didn't quite think this warranted a news thread, but looks like a new Reflector reissue is making the rounds on a well known auction site. Well I wasn't aware of a reissue of Reflector so I'm assuming this is a KO, but it looks very nice for a KO. No sticker sheet though it appears, not that repro labels wouldn't be an option if one were so inclined....

Niiiice. Reflector has always been such an odd little trio. Wouldn't mind getting him -- Mine has gotten well worn over the past couple of decades.

Yeah, I never thought that the G1 Reflector set was worth the going price. But a KO might be a nice alternative. I'm sure they'll be selling a set that comes with stickers eventually though, so I'll hold out until then.

I got my Reflector from a cereal box order a long time ago. I forgot what happened to it. I want another one.

This one's my favorite cameraformer.

I hope they eventually repaint him as a cartoon reflector homage in the TFU line.

Ive got the Ko of the original Microx version that became Reflector and its only good as a display piece.
Its as fiddly as hell and I doesnt really hang together brilliantly and has a couple of potential "break-points" as well so I can see why Hasbro only ever offered it as a limited availability Mailaway.
I would say its one of the poorer pre movie G1 toys but if I see one really cheap ill probably pick it up.
Loss of job. Will sell for food here.

OH ****!

And after i spent so much effort into kitbashing the trio. :(

I think i'll wait to see if they come with stickers. Would be cool though.

@RID: Agreed. SS6 is THE BEST. Wait. I mean Photon T34 is BEST. Same mold though, i just like black n gold.

Ya know, it'd be interesting if someone tried to pull a relatively cartoon accurate version.

Weird, maybe futile, but interesting. :D

Jeepers thats incredibly expensive for a KO.
Think I paid about £8($15) inc postage for mine and certainly wouldn't have paid more for it as Im not too fond of it
