Concept art for Starscream up:
http://gameinformer.com/games/transform ... cream.aspx
Looks like a nice mix of War Within, Cybertron, and Animated designs.
Here's Megatron:

Yup. Gonna have to get this. Must build time machine, go forward in time, get a copy, then come back and play it.
Of course, if I had the money to do that, I wouldn't have my PS3 hooked up to an apparently hi-def, yet teeny-tiny, TV.

As a professional tanuki (I'm a Japanese mythological animal, and a good luck charm), I have an alarm clock built into me somewhere. I also look like a stuffed animal. And you thought your life was tough......

Ooh, this keeps getting better and better. Regardless of the gameplay, at least there'll be eye candy.
Damn, I love that Megatron design. It feels like G1 crossed with Animated proportions, and redone in Movieverse detailing. I love it. The Optimus Prime's not half bad either, although he looks more Animated than G1. Not sure about the Starscream. He looks too bulky and not sleek enough. The War Within design is better.
Still, this is all good stuff.

I did all of these and I'm at 78%...looks like they've added more. ^_^BlacknRedTed wrote:I found all the extra stuff from the game site if anyone wants to take a look at some of it.

The website is being a dick, but what I've seen of the transmissions look pretty nice.
I'm hoping the game is a bit more "open" than your usual shooty game. Something along the lines of the recent Elder Scrolls/Fallout titles would be nice but probably too much to hope for.
Deliberately lowered expectations ftw?

This is my signature. My wasted space. My little corner. You can't have it. It's mine. I can write whatever I want. And I have!
Very, very, very (did I say very?) very nice graphics there - shame no one ever manages to put images like that into the actual gameplay, but there you go... Omega Supreme? Awesome!
Please don't let this end up a standard platform game (q.v. Wildrider), which get on my nerves after a few 'look-sees'. I'd love an all out RPG proper.

New Trailer!
IGN posted the new trailer along with a preview article:
Transformers: War for Cybertron
I linked the Wii page, but it's for all platforms. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun, and it won't be chained down to storylines, etc. like a movie tie-in. Here's to some good gaming!
PS - I really hope the Wii version isn't a dumbed down turd with the 'everyone can play, even Grandma' crap that most Wii iterations fall into (granted I know the graphics won't be anywhere near as good as PS3/XBox360). I really don't want to play a mini-game fest set in this universe. PLEASE LET IT BE THE REAL DEAL!!!

If my suspicions are correct. I'd say that's a generic guardian robot. Who knows? Maybe we'll see the rise of of the Omega Supreme in the game.Clogs wrote:Omega Supreme? Awesome!
