He's my fav dude in animated, definately. Although they both have their charm. It's kinda difficult to compare as they only really have the namesake in common.

It has to be said that professor princess should have a spin-off series.

Well, like slartibartfast said, it's name only. But Animated Prowl is simply way cooler than G1 Prowl.

I disagree. Sure, Animated Prowl is cool and all, but G1 Prowl was pretty cool in his own way back in the ol' days. I mean, he had twin shoulder-mounted blasters AND could transform into a police car!

I happen to like both Animated Prowl and Universe 2 Prowl.

I like Prowl's short stunt as acting commander in early Marvel run.

Also IDW Prowl has had interesting relations with OP and Ratchet.

its a close race for me. toy wise animated wins hands down but as a character and an icon im still unsure id like to see someone paint animated prowl in g1 colours

He is more noticiable now in the animated series.He wasn't so much in the other series.
A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest of decepticons.
