Transformers 2010 LA Series?

Post by Luckydan »

Forgive me, if this has been mentioned before

I been browsing wikipedia and was reading through the list of autobots and at the end of the movie toy lines I saw this.

2010 Live Action Series

* Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime - 2009 Chevrolet Corvette/2009 Chevrolet Silverado w/ Camper
* Red Alert - 2007 Chevrolet HHR Police Cruiser
* Landmine - Construction Bulldozer
* Perceptor - 2007 Ford F-250
* Nightscream - 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse
* Jazz II - 1975 Chevrolet Camaro
* Goldbug (Reformatted Bumblebee) - 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
* Prowl - 2007 Nissan Altima Police
* Skywarp (Reformed Decepticon) - F-22 Raptor (Purple/Black)
* Cliffjumper - 2009 Pontiac Grand Am

The link for proof:

Has anyone ever heard of this? I think its a bit farfetched but could be possible but did someone done this so some idiot like me would post this on the forum to make me look like a clown?

The mystery deepens.

Anyhow ignore that rant and can anyone confirm this at all?

No source cited in the wiki article, and no mention of it anywhere else seems to suggest it's bunk.

Also, a live-action tv series would either be cost-prohibitive or cost-efficient-and-look-awful, so I'm tempted to dismiss it on premise alone.

Still, odd.

Yea, I highly doubt its true. They have their hands full with the Transformers: Animated Series + the new Movie coming out in 2009. I think its false on that premise alone + with the addition of your comments.

However I still find it a bit odd why would someone do this though.

I suspect it's just an example of why wikis don't work for TFs (as with many subjects) unless they're constantly and diligently moderated. Too many people who'll slip in their own personal fic for the hell of it.

edit:

Looks like unregistered vandalism --
