Worked for Dreamwave's first G1 series.
Well, okay, it didn't work, but the dialogue was mostly interchangeable.

As for the script, they haven't even settled on the characters yet. Pretty damn hard to get a draft going for a script when you're not sure who's actually going to be in the movie yet.
Eh? Who says?
A few months ago they said they were gonna add some more Cons for impact.
Then a couple of months or so ago, they said they had to cut back again, presumably cos of budget.
So the cast's presumably the same as it was a year ago, with the exception of Arcee, who was also cut months ago and has undoubtedly been replaced by now.
Just because they haven't revealed the full cast doesn't mean it's not decided.

Further update:
Boston is unlikely as a location....casting is focused on human actors for now....voice actors will be later and all this end are aware of the fan feelings ...will be months before that casting happens....lots of humans to cast first.... first casting news may surface soon.....can't yet reveal which cars are in shop but they'll be joined soon by trucks....and other stuff...
Movie is not officially greenlit yet but we are gearing up for June shoot.....we hope that by next week we will be official.....
robot list is pretty well defined in script but won't be revealed yet...
