Oh my god! OH MY GOD! You don't understand how cool this is for me. Look at the quality episodes!!!! The Resurrected Billy Against the Decepticons and The Evil Meteor on DVD!
Woooooo!
This suggests that possibly...possibly....they will release the whole series eventually. And that would be soooo cool. To see that Planet Pirate episode on my TV with a good picture and everything.... Wooo!
Chief! I must pre-order this DVD immediately, you understand?

They did play him. Not much happened.
Yah- luckies.
::noting the fine print::
Will only play on Reg.2 dvd players or multiregion. Bah. Guess that leaves US dvds out. Star Saber or no, I hope they bring it out here too.
I remember making a tactical little error on my first England trip and spending an awful lot of pounds on vhs tapes only to learn upon arriving back home that PAL wouldn't play here.
'Twas a very good thing for me that my college had a communications dept where I was able to get them converted.

Difference is, multi-region DVD players are common-place now...which is especially useful when you fancy a bit of dubbed anime, because America gets far more selection than we do. Personally, I'm very happy with my firmware-patched DVD-ROM...you can get standalone players which are ready-modified or easily altered, though...

"Among those fans there's at least one guy for whom you're a hero. He saved money to see you! That's what I did. I played for that guy." - Bruce Springsteen (1987)
Tell me that's not an ep title... please, or I may have to order these from somewhere... that sounds just too wonderfully hideous to pass up...Originally posted by LordSixshot
The Resurrected Billy Against the Decepticons and The Evil Meteor
This is my signature. My wasted space. My little corner. You can't have it. It's mine. I can write whatever I want. And I have!
I would recommend holding off on that order. I would wait for a possible Rhino release, which might occur since they are making a bizllion dollars from Transformers. The only reason for waiting would be for the original Japanese track w/ English Subtitles, which might be included since they did it with Battle of the Planets. I doubt Maverick would ever release the Japanese track.Originally posted by grimlock

Hmm, I'd argue subbed prints are a long way off... Most fans who want the eps will buy either way, and it'd cost a bit of cash to do the subs... Basically, right now I can't see a compnay forking out when there are dubs which might be ridiculous, but to be honest get the job done. Also, I'd bet a lot of the more casual buyers, and less intelligent fans, would be put off by having to read subtitles [don't get me wrong, I'd love a subbed release], and a high-quality new dub would probably cost a massive amount... Basically, I think a subbed version would be a critical hit but only a cult seller, whereas a dubbed version may get slightly derided, but most fans will buy it anyway as it's their first chance to see these eps
