Names allegedly Ransack and Depth Charge.
That plane, Ransack. Is that a nod to Hearts of Steel????

I want that plane so badly, I love retro vehicles of the air. I want more pics so I can build it from Lego I've made one already but it could be better.

Gobots-esque - nice!

The best thing about the toys we've seen so far, especially the non-Movie ones, is the variety in the alt modes for new moulds - there's less "Oh, another car that's practically identical to the other cars" going on.

Probably not, but I guarantee the kitbashers out will do something with them... More of a G2 Ransack homage.

Heh, 25th Anniversary is covering all line, alright...

The best thing of these for me has to be both the return of the scout class and the best-esque heads on some of these.

I'm liking both "Ransack" and "Depth Charge". Very impressed. As others have already said in the case of the Bi-Plane it would be nice to own a transformer with a fairly unique alt mode. I'm struggling to think of a transformer that has a prop driven aircraft as its alt mode rather than a jet.

Depth Charges robot looks pretty nifty from what I can make out from the blurred pic.

not to mention Incinerator from the last movie line (The Osprey, AKA the tilt-rotor thingy with the stupid hands), though thats probably not what you had in mind.

plus classics Tankoroctane

now i'm struggling. any more?

(plus I'm now really wanting that G2 ransack, which looks particularly awesome)

Obsidian and Makeshift are also nearly there - the props tilt for level flight.

I'd actually love to see a few WW2 fighters and the like done as Transformers with modern tech so they aren't just a collection of spindly, yet flat, bits.

How about the ones with VTOL??? I know that it is a bit unfair but VTOL is used to get in the air and it happens with something that follows the same principe as a real prop.

TFA voyager Megs, is now the only one I am sure about.

For the normal props I've got also: TFA leader Megs, Cybertron Evac, ROTF movie legends Springer, Armada minicon Makeshift, movie Blackout, Rotor and Whirl, the guys from Energon Brut Max and that guy from G1 Bruticus. There are of course more of them but I don't know another one at the moment.

yes, plenty of helicopters. i'm rarely a fan, as the rotors are never well handled imho.

i'd love a WWII combaticon set, as they were from 'starscreams brigade'. or anything from HoS. which reminds me:

Hearts of steel optimus update, off of seibertron

i doubt my financial capacity to support my level of fandom for this. bugger.

EDIT: sorry, this is seriously off-topic out of context. feel free to move or delete

Not a movie toy, if anything needs it's own thread.

Nifty though, won't buy fan pieces mainly due to price still.

G1 Bomb Burst. (according to the ultimate guide it's a hovercraft mode, not a jet)

Hate to continue being pseudo-off topic, but do remind that the Ultimate Guide is wrong on a LOT of things. It's clearly a jet regardless.

his original toy bio refers to him as a "hoverjet" not a hover craft, not a jet, a hybrid of the two. Here:Bomburst

Okay everyone (me included), we're going a bit sideways here.

:derailed:

I do wish that chap wasn't nodding like a twat, though.

Alright. I do like the idea of a biplane former, but i'll hold judgement till it's out and i see it for real.

And i dunno why, but i have a sneaking suspicion that the boat's probably going to be a shellformer.
