New wave of Star Wars Transformers out

Post by Nevermore »

The "new" toy is Anakin Skywalker/Jedi Starfighter, a redeco of the Seasee Tinn toy.

The wave supposedly also contains a re-release of the Luke Skywalker/Snowspeeder toy in the new packaging.

Note that these versions of the Star Wars Transformers have dropped the pilot figures that were available with the toys in the old packaging.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Labeling them as "Crossovers" isn't going to help these any...

I almost got the ARC-170/Pilot, when I first saw them but wasn't really wanting to pay $15 bucks for something that would look soooo out of place with the rest of my collection.
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

When I display my SW TFs with the rest of my collection its as if there not even TFs at all.

I only got the Darth Vader/Death Star one. It's actually pretty decent for a shell-former/puzzle-former. (think along the lines of Big Convoy) I got him for the same price as a Voyager class figure, about $28 CAD. The box is an excellent display piece, but the TIE fighters, Stormtroopers, and the Darth Vader pilot all end up staying stored. It's a little taller than Cyb. Megatron and about as heavy as it too. Hey, Unicron has to have something other than Cybertron/Primus to munch on!;) He's alright next to Primus and Unicron for display. The Darth Vader/Death Star hasn't swayed me to the Dark Side yet, despite it's demands for me to do so.

When I first saw the new packaging that these toys where in, I almost got one, then I realized what they where, and I decided to keep my $15 and to spend it on something that was actually woth it. These things suck so bad, and I cant see my self buying any of these things. Except for the planet darth vader, I wont be getting any of this crap.
