Why can't they put forth the effort to make the limbs four different vehicles, instead of two? Lazy? Or just don't care?
It's pretty simple, really. Store exclusives for Transformers don't sell in the volume that warrants entirely new molds. Repaints are easily the best way to go. Retooling/remolding is a little more possible, but in this case, what are you going to retool from to get a space shuttle and jeep?

I think i'll stick with my plan of modifying Tankor.
You'd think they'd at least swipe a Jet from the Superion set for Blast Off.

Bruticus!? Is that you!? "NO STARSCREAM! It is not Bruty-Kiss~!"

I like the look of the new Onslaught/Maga-Octane/Barricade...haha less obnoxious colors. This toy, when viewed in vehicle mode, SO works as a classic universe toy. Next to prime looks real good.I think Id get it for him

the WHirl/Vortex looks accurate as vortex.

Id keep the purple and grey "helicopter" from ENERGON to act as Blast-Off, cuz it looks right.

Brawl, just needs to be a green tank.

Swindle as his Yellow tank(g1ish) or the maroon tank ver. (kinda g2ish) will suffice. Kinda leaning towards the yellow.

I was thinking about getting them... but the more pictures I see of him the uglier and weaker they look.

Now however I just got done gawking at FrenzyRumbles Menasor so any Hasbro made combiner looks pathetic by comparison!
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

I think Superion looks pretty cool. I like the decos in these versions, and it'll give me a chance to have a combiner to battle my Classics Devastator. The only thing that bugs me (not that it can be changed, it's just the mold) is that Silverbolt doesn't have much for hands. But I'll deal with it to get a sweet combiner. Plus, I probably won't have this guy in anything other than his Superion mode.

Anyway, I'm probably getting these if I have the cash. Especially the Combaticons.

Air Raid seems to be an homage to Energon Starscream, which is... odd.

It looks like they remoulded Superion's head, but I could be wrong.

I'll be getting both of these, just because I love the Energon combiners.

Did they change Bruticus' transformation? Coz i remember the old one had the front of the missile truck on his back, not on his chest?

I may get Superion, he looks pretty neat. and it'll save me from trying to hunt down the Universe Micromaster Superion set. Which I would've probably been dissapointed with afterwords...

Any word on if these are store exclusives or if they're mass retail? Here's hoping for mass retail, but for some odd reason I feel they'll go exclusive. Like to Wal-Mart.
