Just to say, Robotkingdom have the TFClub Roller / Rollar up for preorder slated for a November release, priced at $36.90.

Come to think of it, wasn't there supposedly a Roller to go with Masterpiece Convoy made by Takara for some exclusive / giveaway deal? Or did that never come to pass?

That was a rumor by TFormers, I think. As well as a Masterpice Starcream exclusive deal with a crown.

Dare I ask if that's an original figure? Or is it a repaint of someone with a few Roller-esque mods?
Methinks it tip-of-the-tongue familiar...
Though, if it is original then it's a bloody good job well done, even if the design is a bit weird...

Aye, sorry, shoulda said that (was checking e-mail during a frazzled butterfly report writing moment during my working day, and Robotkingdom's madness distracted me, lol!).

It is rather bizarre - and not too badly priced for such a thing, but I actually would have been more interested in a non-transforming version, at a lower price...

And, for all those doubters, the trailer rocks - there can be no G1 Prime / Convoy without a trailer! (Erm... maybe... oh... um... no... I'm wrong... but it is nice!

)

The chest is slightly similar to Megatron Megabolt from RID.

I agree with numbat - I'm not sure what the point is in it transforming into something that wasn't on the show or comics... I mean, MP Prime is the ultimate nostalgia figure, and I bet a lot of people would have been happier with a cheap vehicle-only one.

As for it being unofficial, you can tell Takara had nothing to do with it - you don't have to buy MP Convoy all over again with it...

I'd say that the parts seem to be new, but they do resemble some other figures. The robot parts share a resemblance to Trans scanning OP, and the placement of the armor on the legs is Voyager MOV Prime reinvented.

Note: For those who don't realise, i am not saying that these are exact parts, justt that they look similar (if you squint).
