McDonald's Animated promotion starts Saturday, July 5

Includes six toys: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream, Ratchet and Lugnut.

Which toys exactly will be available today and which will be available in the following week is not known yet. Apparently some people have already got Prime, Megatron and Lugnut, though.

It was supposed to start the 4th. Not sure why people have Lugnut, though. Prime and Megs are toys 1 & 2.
Who'd have thought working for McHellonEarth would have an up side......

McDonald toy release dates, like Hasbro ones, are not to be trusted. They already had them at both McD's at our hellhole of a town.
Also, the bags have a $5 Coupon for any Transformers Animated Product $19.99 or up. (Thanks to my little cousins for giving me the coupons. Now I have a reason to pick up a few Starscreams)

Probably the only reason some would be interested in these Mctoys is for that coupon... How long are the coupons good for?

The end of January. Only usable on toys $19.99 or higher and ONLY Animated. Of course, I'm going to try it with Universe just to see if I can. You never know with mass retailers.

End of January, eh? The Animated Leader class figures might be out by then. $5 off a Voyager is good, but $5 off a Leader is much better. I wouldn't expect Omega Supreme to be available by January, and it would be a bit of a waste on SROC Optimus... Just my opinion, mind.
To what I think of Mc Donald's Transformers the Animated Happy Meal.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the coupons are good ONLY in the US. If you want do what I did today at Wal-Mart and ask for some Happy Meal bags. They'll give you a few (8 here + 4 from my cousins) =D
