Classics Bumblebee + Nail Varnish + Electrical Tape = "MOVIE COLORS HONKY BUMBLEBEE". Sad thing? There are people out there stupid enough to buy this.

Aren't those meant to be funny rather than completely believable? Speaking as someone "fooled", I don't feel particularly foolish, what with Takara's form...

My immediate thought was that this will only remain a hoax until Takara sees the image and gets the idea into their heads...

Right, this is no longer an April Fool's gag. I was only wrong about it being Takara instead of Hasbro.

This appears to be a coincidence. Note how the three-pack one simply replaces Classics Bumblebee's white paint for black, whereas the April Fool's one uses a more unique deco pattern.

I make that two Aprils Fools' TF jokes that have, one way or another, wildly backfired. No-one made one about a comic-accurate Impactor being in Classics 2.0 by any chance, did they?
And I'd like to state this was the first thing I thought of, but I had the class not to bump.
Or I thought someone would shoot me.
One or the other.
