Movie Leader Class "premium Series" Optimus Prime and Megatron out at US mass retail

The usual details for those coming in late:

- Prime has a new head sculpt and a blade that replaces the gun.
- Megatron is a straight repaint with no mold changes.

They're going to be available at any stores that previously stocked the non-"Premium" versions, as long as those stores still stock Movie Transformers toys. I.e. no store exclusives.

They will retail for the same prices as the original releases. I.e. no "premium prices".

On the hunt for a true movie megatron now. That first one was colored the worst.

I never did pick up Prime or Ironhide.. I guess the premium series is the last chance I'll get.

I held off on getting megatron the first time around as i didnt like the colors, but now i have to get the premium version somehow as its just a huge improvement.

I spotted both of these in my local Wal*Mart tonight. I can get shitty cell phone pictures if anyone needs them, but trust me its not worth the effort.

I can't wait to finally find these guys. Prime with his sword and a movie accurate Megs should have been released the first time around. Well, better late than never I guess.

Spotted both megs and prime at TRU about 30 minutes ago, and I am bout to go back to pick up megs. The prime isnt worth another buy for a sword I can find on ebay for like $5 and his head sculpt screams rabbit to me anyway, but megs, he should have came out with this color scheme in the first place. Also, when you push the button down on his chest, and when it pops up, he makes the classic transformers transformation sound, so sweet.

This is my first time at this, so go easy on the new guy, ok? Anyway, about Premium Megatron, did Hasbro do anything about the vehicle noise or did they leave it unchanged? Also, did they fix the problem with the arms (spring included in cannon, instead of in the right arm)?

wish i could answer your questions, but since i bought the first release of megatron i decided to keep premium megs in his box.
